  1. I agree. Trey wasn't afforded the same oline, weapons, and running backs that Purdy had. Plus Shanny's play calling was very suspect then. He called very basic plays for Brock to make it easy for him. Do the same for Trey and see how it works out.

  2. Everything Ross is saying is totally on point. Fans always want to make a splash not understanding that SF doesn't have the money. Plus Brady would be trash behind our oline and a sitting duck with his cement feet. Except for Eagles not being as good next year. Eagles return their entire oline except Seumalo who was their weakest link. They also return their top 3 WRs, TEs, QB and Kenny Gainwell. They can draft a RB and guard to replace the players they lose. They lose TJ Edwards, but they been developing Nakobe Dean. They lose Hargrave, but still have Fletcher Cox, Jordan Davis, and a slew of depth. They lose Brandon Graham but still got Sweat, Reddick, and guys they been developing. I think their biggest lose is gonna be Jason Kelce. But Jurgens is ready to take the reigns at Center. Philly been preparing for this. It will be them and SF in the NFC championship again next year.

But SF will invest in that oline this time.
