  1. I don’t know if you drive with FSD in a city but the last revision or two has made it trustworthy even to my wife. Now there are limitations. It doesn’t do left turns with cross traffic but it’s exceedingly good now almost everywhere else. I think it will be the first thing that people will finally realize it’s super good of all the different directions Tesla is going

  2. "Fate loves irony." (Musk) Here's the irony – As intense as Elon is in his focus on reducing expenses on his products and processes (how much time and labour is spent on this by he and his staff across the board), a few simple tweets by Musk over the years has probably cost Tesla et al billions ($) in stock stagnation expenses

  3. I'm assuming this Spaces was recorded before Ross made those derogatory remarks on CNBC about Elon and him (Ross) selling his Tesla and getting a Rivian instead "and so will many of the people in LA". It's like there are two Ross's; one with great comments, and one with horrible comments.

  4. Legacy is going to realize they can’t make a profitable EV without technology infrastructure like Tesla.

I think the Next Gen vehicle isn’t just a $25K car, I think it’s a platform for legacy OEMs to effectively slap their logo on and / or to embed in manufacturing. Hardware, software, autonomy, infotainment, motors, battery? At some point batteries.

  5. Funny how Ross bails in the call when everyone is talking about how great Elon is at getting chips and thinking ahead… amazing for a guy that isn’t the ceo anymore. What a joke, loved the show, don’t invite fools next time

  6. So was this recorded before Ross took mainstream media for gospel and freaked the f**k out and had a(nother) emotional freak out about Elon on CNBC?

… because either way, he's not cut out for managing an investment fund. Why would anyone entrust their money with him?!

His participation on this panel was good and a reminder of his capable analysis.

But he's clearly too reactionary and emotional for this business.

Ross – follow through and divest from Tesla. Leave X. And do enjoy your Rivian.

  7. I have a question to you, especially Jeff: I don't hear much (if any) conversation about the companies' culture when it comes to potential partnerships. If the company cultures would be clashing would such a partnership be of much value? Would it even survive? Having said that, I wonder which OEM's culture is likely to best approximate the culture of Tesa today?

  8. I like everithing about Tesla but my only doubt on tesla is, when the most of the cars will be EVs how we re going to handle all the chargers and the traffic jam to the chargers? at this point is not more usefull to exploit swap station as NIO does?. I will be greatfull if someone can reply me. thanks a lot

  9. I'm a Tesla reatail investor, brand new model 3 owner who does 15-20 hours of Uber and use FSD beta at least 85% of the time. It makes the job incredibly easier.

  10. Ross is such a bs spreader. Buying Uber… probably he is invested in Uber and wants to make a quick buck. It would be a disaster, chaos and friction with totally different company cultures, adding almost no value, but huge cost

  11. It will be a long time before Tesla can sell powertrains to other companies because they need to produce as many cars as they possibly can and they'll need all the power trains that they can manufacture for their own production. It's more likely they'll sell or license their battery management software.
