I for one am a Paimon supporter. With the exception of Furina's story quest, where Paiomon was a complete A-hole to Furina the whole time, I think she is quite witty and endearing most of the time.
The reason why Freminet has a diving helmet and doesn't use it when diving is because he used to dive before getting a vision. Once he got his vision and the ability to breath underwater as a vision holder, his diving helmet has become a souvenir. I think it was implied somewhere that he still uses the diving helmet when he's sent on a "cleanup missions" for the Fatui… apparently the helmet can shut out the outside noise, for example death cries of people he's been sent to deal with.

man the event minigame is fun, the ending is cute, the shade effect on the cutscene is amazing
This event is great
Genshin's pattern is roughly something like this (especially after 2.0 because it was 1.0 – 1.6 and then 2.0/3.0 – 2.8/3.8):
August/September/October: X.0 – X.2 = Archon quests (and introducing the main cast of that nation)
November/December: X.3 = separate story patch (Dragonspine, Dragonspine, Wanderer Interlude, Fontaine Festival)
January/February: X.4 = Lantern Rite (1.3, 2.4, 3.4, 4.4)
February/March: X.5 = Windblume or Local Event (often with Dain or Alice lore)
April: X.6 = Local Event (often with 2nd Archon quest and new weekly boss tied to that, Raiden's 2nd quest and Dain's quest switched places during Inazuma)
May/June = X.7 "International Cast" Event (Chasm event, TCG event)
June/July = X.8 Summer/Klee Event (GAA1, GAA2, Bottleland – often with Alice lore and tie-in to the next nation).
We never got skins during patches with Nation Main Story Archon quests (not counting the Inazuma 'Archon Quest Prologue' at the end of the Liyue arc and the 'Archon Quest Interlude' with the rebuilding of the Jade Chamber), Dain quests or 2nd story quests for Archons (new weekly bosses), we only got skins during 1.6, 2.4, 2.8, 3.4 and 3.8 which makes sense because the 4 star skin is always for free and the flagship event of these patches runs for 30+ days. The first year had a slightly different structure because 1.6 is equivalent to 2.8 and 3.8, but going off of that it means we should get a skin during Lantern Rite next patch (4.4) and then during the next summer event (4.8). Fontaine Fashion week seems to be a good time for a new skin, but if it's actually only a week it could be not enough for a whole event or they spin it in a way that Chiori designs or just sees some stuff there that will then find its way into Lantern rite because Keqing's and Ningguang's skins were also called "imported designs" back then. It could also be possible that Chiori was hinting at her own release with that Fashion week and it's just part of her story quest.
If we assume that Chiori is a 5 star for now we could end up with this release schedule:
4.4: Xianyun + reruns
4.5: Chiori + reruns
4.6: Sigewinne + reruns
4.7: Clorinde + reruns
4.8: Arlecchino + reruns
I expect Sigewinne to release alongside Wriothesley during his rerun (whenever that is) and that we also get Emilie (the perfume specialist) as a 4 star, probably alongside Chiori (especially if the Fashion week actually takes place as an event or story quest), but several characters mention her in voice lines, so I assume that has to be a thing somehow. Clorinde and Arlecchino are basically the Dehya-type-carrot-on-a-stick character for me. I put Clorinde one patch earlier because in my head it's easier to bridge the gap storywise between Arlecchino and Natlan in my opinion, but after Chiori I think everything is possible. I'm not even sure what the 2nd Archon Story quest could be because that determined the new weekly boss in the past… because we don't even know who Hoyo considers the Archon to be in this case. Maybe something tries to get Furina and there's a big boss somehow… or Neuvillette has another meeting with Skirk and that's how we stumble into a new weekly boss. There is this general pattern and it's quite established, but we also have seen slight variations in the past.

I guess it does make sense why people here are somewhat wary of foreigners đ€Ł We're exceptions because we're well-known and Furina openly welcomed us back in Act 1.
1:16:21 I don't know French, but from my observations, I don't think Neuvillette has the r sound at all. If anything, it should sound closer to 'beau' in 'beauty'. I also heard from a couple of friends who studied French that r is quite a hard sound to make for them.

Overall, I love the story and pace of this event. I adore the attention to the npcs as well. Everyone except the three culprits, officer Letellier, and the lighting specialist Bonnot are recurring chars. Elain (the Mother) and Buraud (the Baron) are extras Furina brought from the troupe in her story quest, Turenna the trainee officer from the recent Fungi event, and Livre from the Bennett event who is finally voiced đ

neuvillette's pronunciation isn't supposed to have the 'r' sound in it i think!! the 'eu' is supposed to be pronounced as the 'i' in bird,,, that's the closest sound i could find anyway :]
we actually have a letter for that sound in turkish,, 'ö'!! but this is how i heard french-speaking people pronounce it,, im not french myself so what would i know ^^'
4:31:54 Clearly you guys have no idea how prison works, yeah there are probably other murders there but much like real life even they have their own internal honor system, for example irl if you're child predictor or a ra**st and prisoners found out donât except them to live every long in there and at bare minimum they'll make your life a living hell for as long as you're there. So yeah, Wristhesley and Chev are heavily impling something similar is going to happen to their father here its pretty dark if you read between the lines
I think there will be three skins for the Lantern Rite (maybe Ganyu, Shenhe, and Xingqiu) patch this year. It would be nice if they would continue to keep at least 3 skins for the summer patch as well, maybe we'll get a 5* male skin other than Diluc at that rate.

Got to be honest I had doubts this event patch would be a dud besides fun making the movie. But Fontaine proves me wrong again. The storytelling has been so good everytime. Chevruse quickly grew on me as we helped her out. I think Mihoyo has really come up with a good way to keep interest in these more fun events by making them psuedo 4 star story quests in a way.

I just realized y'all skipped all of the Sumeru Desert World Quests. The last one was especially good, IMO, and introduced some of the central characters to Fontaine's major World Quest arc.
Also they had an event specifically to explain Ayaka's outfit back when it released. XD
4:33:02 being fair there is a lot of reason for one to be send to prison, like people who kill because he need money to eat would likely despise a rich guy who choose to kill when he doesn't have to, not to mention the smaller criminal like thief and the like, they won't miss the chance to make a spoiled noble live a living hell especially when they have excuse of the target deserving it
No need to worry about Morris having a cushy life in the Fortress. Chevreuse explained Morrisâs past to Wriothesley, who has a history of dealing with âbad parentsâ. I am confident that Wriothesley will not let Morris have lots of comforts. He may not die, but heâs going to put to work, and no, the other criminals will not like him. Morris was a rich man of privilege who has probably taken advantage of others. Veronique and Baptiste might be able to find friends in the Fortress, but not Morris. Lots of people in the Fortress also want Wriothesleyâs favor. I think it will be clear to everyone that Morris doesnât have it. Just review the look on Wriothesleyâs face when heâs speaking of Morris finding himself to be unlucky.

Neuvillette doesnât have a ârâ sound. The âeuâ is /Ć/. When you pronounce âbedâ, the âeâ is /É/. Keep pronouncing this vowel, but only change your lips to extrude out and rounded, then you will have the sound. Itâs like the sound you make when you see something disgusting and about to throw up. The letter ârâ does not always pronounce; it depends on the letter combination. When you have âerâ at the end, like the name you saw ending with âierâ, âerâ is /e/. Itâs the first half of the vowel in âpayâ /pei/. So âierâ is just /ie/.

About french pronunciation:
– Neuvillette has no "r" sound in it… AT ALL. I don't know why people think there is one o.o
– Letellier: Chevreuse says the name perfectly at least, "LETAYLIAY" (no "r" sound either for that one)
– Chevreuse: many english streamers pronounce it "chrevroose"… which is not the right way ^^'. In fact, "E" and "EU" are pronounced the same in french, "EU" is just a longer sound. (it's the same for N-EU-villette).
– Baptiste : again wrong pronounciation, the P is kind of silent, the best way to say it is BATISTE.
Rest assured you're not the only ones having problems with french, I still haven't heard any streamer pronounce the french names correctly since the start of Fontaine , my poor ears are bleeding since 4.0, help! xD (I still don't understand, since the start of the game, why in the EN dub there are so many foreign words if it's only to butcher the pronounciation… T.T)
