What John Thomas didn’t is 1) Trump should be elected again because he already won re-election, 2) Trump started things in term he should be allowed to finish, and 3) Trump will have plenty of time to be a party molder in 2028 after he’s served his overdue second term. And unlike Trump, DeSantis, a Trump creation, doesn’t have the experience Trump has with foreign policy. Whatever the problem is, Trump has already fixed it, by the grace of God. DeSantis can ran in 2024 if he wants, but he can also run in 2028. It’ll still be there for him then, and he’ll have more experience by then.

I remember when Romney ran for President, thinking he wasn't good enough for the job. That was just 10 years ago.
