A good mechanic, too bad they couldn't implement it in the MvsC2 due to the number of characters, but it had a spiritual successor with Seth in the SFV.
It's stuff like this what makes me appreciate the "smaller" MvC titles more because here, since the roster was rather small, it meant they had the freedom to give Rogue all these extra moves with new sprites.
Something that was just COMPLETELY dropped in MvC2 because there was NO WAY they would've put THAT much effort into make her copy all the characters from that big-ass roster, given how much of an asset dump it was.
I would have loved a X-Men vs. Street Fighter 2 with more SF characters and debuting X-Men characters (when is Emma Frost going to be playable on a fighting game? 😅)
Sucks there is not more active players on fightcade with this game. I do get the reason why though. Any game with alot of broken easily achieved infinite combos don't attract alot of players.
