  1. So where would the teams be based? If it's a UK team in London I'm lucky to get to a game a season as the UK is big and not just London. Plus being a jets fan for 20 years why would I switch to some London team.

  2. I’d hate to completely diminish Canadian football and what they’ve built over there but the obvious choices for expansion should be Toronto , Montreal , Vancouver and then a misc team in this hemisphere like San Juan, Honolulu or something (if it couldn’t be on US mainland) otherwise Portland , San Antonio something like that. Europe is a different breed + travel and logistics would be rough.

Think about how long it took for the nba to catch on in Toronto , most players refused to go north. Imagine that 10x worse, most of these young guys or vets who’ve already made their money aren’t gonna go play in Berlin and leave their families behind. It’d be tough. Plus mentally some guys would really struggle being away from family , friends and US culture for months on end. I’d love to see it though just have to think of the players.

Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver could all support franchises financially and players knowing they’re only a 3 hour flight from there hometown would be easier transition for all

  3. As if the NFL owner's & player's, coaches don't make enough $ already. Aside from that, I never watch the London games unless my team gets the unlucky draw to go there that season, I forget it's even on most of the time. I can't and won't watch current NFL games if it is not a good match up. Like that garbage Broncos-Colts game on Thursday night a couple weeks ago, I watched less than 1 quarter and turned it off and watched a movie, much less when the Vikings vs Jax, or whoever it is play in London, unless it is my team. And if it happened to be two UK NFL teams playing in the SB, I could care less and would not watch.

  4. Why not buy the cfl and incorporate those markets. It would boost both country economies instead of Europe and logistically would be much more reasonable

  5. The México City game carries in some 80,000 spectators per game just 3 hours away from Houston Dallas San Diego Phoenix 5 hours away from NYC LAX and so on but on the same time zone …

  6. Dumb idea all around makes me not like the NFL if it is everywear plus it would have to be the WFL or MNFL it wouldn't be national just because you can make money off a dumb idea still makes it a dumb idea that a dumber person gave you money for.

  7. To AJs point about older guys just declining to go to the new team. This exact thing happened in the NWSL a few years ago. Christen Press and Tobin Heath just said nope to going to Kansas City. Christen took a year off then played at Manchester United.
