sir i had an accedent about 5 years ago and docters put rod in my leg . it was broked the rod is without screws they asked to remove it after a year but due to my studies i was uunable to remove .. know i wanna remove it. can you please tell me will it be good or not . and also will it be posible or not . please sir its series . it hurts me too much

Hello Dear Sir,
Sir my tibial implant was done 22 months ago. screw infection was occured, 3 months post operation, at distal end.
A screw itself came out after 6 months of surgery due to infection. and other one was removed by surgery, the infection went away and came from time to time, it was controlled by using antibiotics, pus and blood come out from the screw point uptill now. Doctor said that nail must be removed now, but may be this infection does appear after nail removal also!! what would be the appropriate way to eliminate the infection completly? Please suggest me best possible solutions! Thank you.
Hi Dr. Pankaj, As a person with rod implant, I am a little concerned, although Im not from a medical background, I would want to enquire if the bone marrow would regenerate after rod removal?
