I sat next to him at an airport gate…our flight was delayed.

It sounds like you get Tommy Bolin at least to some degree. You should do what no reactor / reviewer that I have ever seen has done and review his final masterpiece his second solo album Private Eyes in totality. To me it is a sonic masterpiece and every song stands on it's own. I think you and a lot of your audience would be pleasantly surprised. I am in my 70's so grew up on all the fantastic music of that era so I think I know what I am talking about. But on the other hand it has it has been my favorite album for so long that I am hardly objective so would love to hear what you and others think. I know there are 1000's of Tommy fans out there but still a surprise to a lot of people. He was only 25 and half crazed with drugs and playing full time with Deep Purple and he still created this sonic beauty of an album, and died while touring to promote it, like most Tommy fans it is just unbelievable to me what he would have created. Do yourself a favor & listen to it yourself if not right for your audience.
