  3. Glad he talked about the complexity of paying off someone's loans. The government needs to create exceptions in the tax codes for things like this, especially for certain groups. There's always a solution, but it's always a matter of how creative do people want to be.

  5. In August 2020, Bloomberg reported that Smith was facing a tax inquiry regarding a potential failure to pay U.S. taxes on $200 million in assets, intended for U.S. charities, that were transferred through offshore entities.[28] In October 2020, Smith reached a non-prosecution agreement with the United States Department of Justice (DOJ), agreeing to pay a fine of $139 million. This agreement came alongside Smith agreeing to assist the DOJ in creating a separate case against Robert T. Brockman

  7. Because we were not taught this early on there is a major deficit that affects the educational value of these opportunities… they fall into the college dropout concept that by the time the message is learned the dollar has LOST ITS VALUE!!!!

  8. This isn't going to change anything about anything in this country. One rich man's ideas have no really effect on humanity's ability to coexist in all facets of life. Humans just suck, and we can't govern ourselves, you can't trust us to do the "right" thing's just for the sake of righteousness. Greed permeates the world we live in and it guides the way. We follow money, sex, power and respect forever

  11. It is a disservice to have not requested Mr. Smith to explain how a person with his business acumen can get pinched by the Feds for evading tax obligations. This resulted in Mr. Smith writing a check to the IRS for $110 million or do the 'perp walk'!
