Some real wisdom there!

George MacDonald grew up and lived very poor from what I hear, and he explored God. Greatest theologian ever in my opinion.

"Later I started to think maybe I could go back."
I do think there is always another level, another depth. I still am of the opinion that extended fasting is probably the way though, although it does take a toll on the body after while. I would assume psychedelics do the same, but more so on your mind. Fasting brings so much mental clarity though, and you get to live in a state where the spirit veil is sooooo thin, while keeping your feet grounded. Ketosis at least mimics this state, somewhat.
I still think Kanye West's most brilliant idea was making the book of Daniel into an opera.
