ROASTED PORK FOR DINNER | NYISHI TRIBE | ARUNACHAL PRADESH

Settled along the borders of China, Myanmar, and Bhutan is the incredibly untouched state of India, Arunachal Pradesh. Arunachal Pradesh is secluded, peaceful and hidden from the hustle and bustle of the world.

Nyishi community is the largest ethnic group in Arunachal Pradesh in north-eastern India. We had the opportunity to have a traditional style dinner and tried the “roasted pork” which is a very common dish in the community. We also tried the baby bamboo shoots roasted in fire. It was delicious 🙂
