A tragic multi-vehicle crash on the N1 at Ga-Phasha, Botlokwa, near Polokwane in Limpopo has resulted in a number of fatalities and injuries.
Emergency personnel and traffic officers are actively responding to the situation on site.
Motorists are strongly urged to take alternative routes to avoid the area.

Road regulations traffic police they can stand every corner of the roads but till car operators before they adapted to road regulations,signs and open their minds start respecting other road users we are going no where all these years in December many people lose lives we need to change and respect the roads and cars that we are driving and the passengers in our cars not driving the police but change our mentality on the road.

The N1 after to Polokwane to Louise is very dangerous, it's a national road but you'll think it's just a road from one loxion to another ,how can a national road be that small with a lot of trucks ,right before polokwane its atleast big and has more than 2 lanes , that road has to be extended how many people have to die first ??

Apart from the police going around to ensure the safety of shoppers and visitors, what does the traffic police do? Why are there no traffic inspectors patrolling the road to ensure that people drive responsible and safely. Traffic visibility should not only consist of roadblocks., parades, Police visibility but also patrols. That will help curb unsafe drivers using the road.

Not surprised to see a taxi was involved. Taxis in SA amount for double the rate of crashes than all other passenger vehicles. They think they own the road and have no respect for road safety or other vehicles.
