A very lively session on the Middle Severn – Plenty of Barbel and Chub on the bank including a big brace of quality Barbel.
I show you the baiting approach I take for the session, including the equipment used and how I feed the swim during the session.
Hope you enjoy the video – Please leave any comments and I’ll reply back to you.

Another cracking session Rob. Great video again. Keep the videos coming mate I'm enjoying watching them. 👍🎣
What great session, the Severn definitely treated you well that day. Some of those barbel fights were great 👌
<<<a cool video keep up the great content… Thank you..
once again a fantastic session in a lovely peg and some really good angling.Im off to highley soon taking plenty of hemp and meat, thanks for posting brilliant content.
Cracking vlog Rob, are you able to share which stretch of the Severn you were fishing ? I’m new to the barbel seen, any help would be appreciated 👍🏻
Lovely but try goyt river for a proper hard days fishing rewarding if you get a chunk too
Entertaining vid Rob. Some nice consistent fish👌
Stunning session mate, what a brace, and such a lovely stretch to be on, effort equals reward, tight lines, good health and safe travels, cheers craig
What a session Rob! Some cracking Barbel. Just noticed your set up, with the ST 2500 reels and Korum rods is the same as mine. However, you’re having a much better start to the season than I am 😂
Super fishing reel ?
Nice video, love the Severn 👍small point but are your rodrests the wrong way round? I always have the 'high side' downstream so the rod is less likely to be pulled off the rest? And it facilitates the strike(to the left in this case)
very interesting rob, thanks for sharing, regards mick. 😀
Some horgeous fish there i fished that exact peg a week ago, had a fee nice ones.
Where do you get your hemp from btw?
