Im not trying to glorify Layne’s passing in any way shape or form. at the end of the day im just a huge fan of Layne & Alice in Chains and wanted to create this for myself and his legion of fans. Layne was described as a sweet man with an amazing sense of humour. Layne’s music saved my life in a time of great despair and im forever grateful for that.
Layne Staley
1967 – 2002
where is the guy today who layne punched? what a tripped out story he has, he's be a mini-celeb in some circles!
AT-truh-feed
Fuck Metallica, The most over rated band in history..Hetfield the one trick pony couldn't carry AIC's gear
Isochronic tones in background?
Rip Layne ❤
RIP Angel AMEN Philadelphia USA 🇺🇲
I'll see you later.
I can hear you and just wait.❤
This is absolutely captivating! Thank you so very, very much! I’m so thrilled to see this as a super fan. The information about Demeri I didn’t know, and maybe the last bit of his life. Thank you again!
it's not a 90s rock documentary without metallica acting like complete jackasses
Thank you 🙏
I love the Metallica full circle moment of them mocking AIC and Layne when they dropped out of their tour…….but by the time AIC were doing unplugged Metallica were in the front row with short hair past their prime, holding onto any chance of being associated with AIC
86 pounds jeesus
When comes to the story of AIC and Layne, you can't avoid the addiction factor, cos that was a big part of deal with the band and him, sadly, and that's why we wouldn't see any big produced "mainstream" doc about them for the masses🤷♂️…so, thank you for your work and efford, man🤘👍
This is one singer that can never be forgotten ..or replaced….R.I.P LAYNE.
Alice In Chains. What a fucking band!!!
An absolutely amazing, singular voice.
There is something wrong with the aspect ratio of this video. It only plays as a small window with most of the screen black space?
Layne Staley was a God!!
James Hatfield is a total dildo. Who is he to point his finger when he's a sloppy belligerent drunk!
An excellent doc. Fu**ing tragic story. One of so many for that time. Love the band.
Sad, RIP
Excellent doc, well researched, produced, done TY 👍❕
I see it’s only been 8 days since publishing this. Views are climbing quickly! I’ve had to space out my full watch, but have enjoyed each moment when I can return. So interesting and thanks for this! Truly!
Also, I’m from WA state so these ref’s give me chills. Thanks again!
A talented junkie was all he was. Nothing more. There were plenty before him, and there will be more after him. Andy, Layne, Kurt….just junkies. That's it. I was at Kemper when they played their last show. I loved AIC, and I'm sick of him being glorified.
One of the greatest singers songwriters artist of all time I love you Lane may you rest in peace love you Laney you will be always be missed and for generations that follow I hope they get the words that you sang and wrote and how they can touch a person's soul and its to be celebrated your life love you brother
Howard Stern was always a vampire.
Stellar job on this documentary.
I’ve always had a deep appreciation for Alice in chains.
Layne’s vocals are so extraordinary and unique.
My wish was that he’d get clean and go on to create more incredible music and blow us away with his talent ♥️
Laney's voice was Truly Amazing his Downward spiral so Sad you can't help someone if they don't want to Stop. one thing Lanye said if your clean I won't let you restart in front of me. I know how this feels first hand every time you go back to using it feels like it sinks it's Claws in Harder and Deeper. Don't chase the Dragon in the first place never try Heroin or other painkillers it's Hell just trying to feel normal most days.
When "Dirt" came out, my jaw hit the floor. One of the best albums ever done in the rock world.
Why doesn't this display properly on TV?
