  1. I can see Australia Day getting a huge and lasting leap of support on October 15 when the 'voice' vote is defeated. Happened for the King's Birthday public holiday after the Republic vote failed.

  3. Its the racist Indigenous that should be ashamed, Lets party the hell out of Australia Day in January 2024. Happy to call it invasion day…any people that still had not invented the wheel after their claimed 50 thousand years of existence deserved to be invaded.

  4. Presumably this pathetic council is going to insist that its employees turn up for a normal work day on Australia Day. If they don't recognise it as a public holiday, then its workers should be working that day.

  5. I hate wokeness as much as anyone on Sky. Asking if Australia Day should be moved from January 26 isn't an act of self loathing or hating the country. That's utter garbage. It's an act of compassion towards our Aboriginal brothers and sisters for whom that day represents immense pain and suffering. What would we lose if we moved Australia Day to Federation Day? How would you feel if, on the day that you were house invaded, robbed and beaten, the descendants of those robbers celebrated the event, year after year? I repeat, I LOATHE wokeness. Empathy for the suffering of Aboriginals is something we should aim for as a nation. This racist dogwhistling by Sky is just embarrassing

  6. Go to Turkey , France , they know more on our wonderful soldiers from 1915 than our own people . Travel to these places , you feel so proud to be Australian . Our soldiers forged our country , the world knew nothing on Australia before the war . Have bloody pride in your country 😡
