I agree with most of what you had to say about Overwatch 2 in this video, but I think pretending the overwatch 1 cosmetic system and cash shop was much preferred to the way it is now is a massive piece of revisionist history.
The original game economy was entirely loot box focused. No one liked the loot boxes. To say otherwise is just untrue.

Bloodhunt being final deathed doesn’t surprise me at all. Who was that game for? It wasn’t for Masquerade fans? It shit all over the established lore. It wasn’t really for battle royale fans? It didn’t do much to stand apart? It was pretty damned from the start.

4:00 this is the most revolting aspect of this whole shit show, the devs gave up on the PvE campaign for at least 1 year and a half… and they never acknowledge it. This is fake advertisement, there's no better way to describe it. I personally don't care about PvE, still, the marketing presented Overwatch "2" with this crap, it's what draw attention, they canceled the damn thing at least 1 year before the actual release and they were never transparent about it. Simply disgusting, Blizzard does not deserve a single cent, no matter if their games are fun on a mechanical way, but the monetization, the way Blizzard balance things… it's just horrendous. Crazy how I only experience the very worse of Blizzard, I had friend who was very addicted to Diablo 3, he talked so much shit about that game, but he could not let go of it… then I finally gave Blizzard a chance with Overwatch back in 2018, same thing happened to me, I absolutely despise the game (the balancing was just so obnoxious, the Overwatch devs are clueless on this regard… mind you, I started playing the game literally one month before Brigitte happened), but I still couldn't let go of it. Overwatch "2" is even worse on a balance standpoint AND now we had this fake advertisement situation, finally I letting go of this drug. It's a literal drug, I know the game is bad, I know it's wrong to sustain it by just playing it (I never spent a single cent in this game besides the entry fee to play Overwatch "1" in 2018, on a promotion)… and now I finally got rid of this disease. I hope more Overwatch players can simply let go of their addiction and let this abomination die
