The legendary actor James Earl Jones has died at the age of 93. Across a career that spanned film and stage, he won numerous acting awards and gave voice to iconic characters including Star Wars’ Darth Vader and The Lion King’s Mufasa. In tribute to Jones, we play an excerpt of his reading of Frederick Douglass’s speech “What to the Slave Is the Fourth of July?” from a performance of Voices of a People’s History of the United States. He was introduced by the late historian Howard Zinn.

  4. slavery never ended.. it was expedited to all well off eurocentrics who found it a great way to make fortunes without effort. now we have the biggest wealth gap in human history. and europe has more power over human well being than ever before. united in their fascistic desires they all repeat each others words but only exchange the country name to the they reside in..

  9. 20 years ago, I had a dog who watched TV. She was a constant supply of love, friendship and comedy!

    James Earl Jones was a spokesman (I forget the company) in a series of TV commercials. In one particular ad, his face was zoomed in and out, close-up and far away. Jerry would lunge at the TV when his face was filling the screen, often making contact with the television! Every time the ad was on, she would run into the living room from wherever, growling the whole way. If there was a show on that had James in it, she would race into the room growling. She knew his voice.

    She was also alert to dogs and cats on TV. One particular commercial was for "Beggin' Strips" that would trigger her to race to the living room. As I said, she was always a source of comedy for me.

    I.e. conscience living is blind idolatry; the Nazism that comes by faith in the deception of life in the outer appearance (the deception that comes by faith in the constant variable of human perception)

    The Subconscious (Father) Truth (Son) is the constant (everlasting) courage (spirit) of unconditional (eternal) love (life), the only one who is holy (a true constant because He is set apart from our conscious perception; constant variable/fear)

    Because the conscience enslaved (hell) are forever absent of the subconscious truth (heaven)💪❤️👑

    I.e. Jesus Christ (not idolatry by Christianity, who is conscience/false living/faith)

    because slavery to sin is the life of deception (perception) by the outer appearance (for fear through the lack of substance: subconscious truth), the truth (imagination/love) of the right wing terrorist (conscience living) believe system (heart)

    I.e. an offended mind = a small heart (false understanding)

    Hence, the reflection of your heart is in your perception

    I.e. eternal life (the life of the subconscious/father truth/son, whom we ultimately become because it is who we truly are)
