Rings of Power: The Anti-Lord of the Rings

Rings of Power is, in everything, the opposite of what The Lord of the Rings Trilogy was; the result was one of the worst series in modern TV and undoubtedly the biggest disaster in TV history.

  1. I'm seeing the cave troll fight it ROP, and thinking to myself "The bear was there first."
Seriously, you see the news "Horrifying: Vicious Bear Mauls Hunter in Cave."

    The bear was there first…

  2. Evan Sayet, in his book 'the Kindergarten of Eden' (look him up on YouTube; he did several lectures with this title and also with the title 'regurgitating the apple) explains why Modern Leftists will always villfy the Good and glorify the Bad. It's to do with their philosophy, stamped into their heads since Kindergarten, that to discriminate between good and bad behaviour, good and bad values, good and bad culture, etc., is Bad because 'discrimination is bad'. All cultures, all behaviours, all values must be Equal, and so, when those with good values, good sense, good behaviour, do better than those with bad values, bad sense, and bad behaviour, then this can not be due to their actions and values, it MUST be because those with the good values, sense and behaviour has cheated somehow. They must've oppressed those poor losers with bad values, sense and behaviour.
RoP is a prime – excuse the pun – example. Tolkien's elves, hobbits and men are shown, by Tolkien, as noble, wise, intelligent, sensible and with good values such as hope, humility, love for their people and self-sacrifice. Sauron and his orcs, on the other hand, are shown to be self-centered, predatory even towards their own, prideful, and full of hate. To the Modern Leftist's mind, this simply begs for correction! If All Is Equal, it simply cannot be that Elves are noble and wise, and so have to be shown to be ignoble, racist towards their own who has some human blood, prideful, stupid, and downright evil. Those poor oppressed orcs, also children of the One, however, need to have a champion so they can fight for 'a home they can be themselves', etc. etc. And Sauron is made into a cinnamon roll that can do no wrong. Who is a simp and a friend-zoned incel at worst. The less said about the 'harfoots', the better.

  3. The elf-human relationship here is even more creepy when you realize the elf had been watching that village for ~80 years, basically she saw her since she was a child and have been observing her. Basically it's possible to think he's a groomer.

  4. I have watched many of the critiques for the dumpster fire known as The Rings of Power and you have one of the best. Your command of the English language to describe the race of unwashed, unkept, sociopath Irish leprechauns was spot on.

Thank you for educating me on the difference between Creative Framework and a set of rules and regulations used by RoP. As a white male I am now aware of my station in the world of Woke, SJW womyn. I lay prostate, naked and emasculated before all strong Guyladriels' of the world, begging forgiveness for my birthright of toxic masculinity. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxia culpa.

  6. Even Peter Jackson didn't quite get Sam and Frodo right. Sam was the hero of Tolkien's work, representing the working-class soldiers he saw in the trenches, and his relationship with Frodo was that of a benevolent master and devoted household servant rather than a sort of gay crush as Jackson portrayed. I suppose unless you're from the British Isles it might be a hard dynamic to understand or accept.
