Idk if im the only one thinking it… but i think the level ups tor the kittens is shared and maybe you choose which cat gets the skill point… (maybe, idk, probably, perhaps)
I wonder if the level system is not per cat/person but more you earn a point and assign it. Like you pick which cat give the rank up point to and maybe another point to people when you have other hired hands. Loving this series!

Jas, I think you're confused about the talent/level system. You accumulate points, which you use to level up a cat of your choice (it's the same for staff). So the reason Kevin keeps leveling up is because you choose to give him the points
I nagged my nan for some money. Got the game and love it, don't know if you are experiencing this Jas but I've gotten quite a few visual bugs and glitches.
By the way, to move windows, or doors you have to use the "delete" mode and destroy the square in front of the tile where the thing was placed, like where the plant is.

Hey Jas! The level system isn't on a per-person or a per-cat basis! You earn points and then can choose which cat/person to assign them to. Also you don't have to pay the helpers you hire, but you do need to level them for serving/cooking different dishes before they are useful!
Just be aware that there is a visual glitch that will affect you later in the game! In the marketing tab, if you hover over a particular set of people (fisherfolk etc), it'll show what they are wanting to eat/drink but if you mouse to a different one, then back to the first it can change. There appears to be something up with the list in terms of it doesn't show all the things people will order. It definitely confused me!

Hope this continues to be a daily series! Things truly took a speedy turn all of a sudden. Other than the leveling system hope you realize the kitty litter you bought only accommodates 2 cats with extra benefits while the other litter accommodates 3 with no extra benefits.
Could be useful to gain the affection of strays on the daily to not wait additional time once you expand your limit > w O)/

Jas when leveling up the cats i think u can choose who to level up. When u leveled up a cat u cant level up another, u have to wait for another level up in order to level up the other cats

i was screaming internally at the fact that jas kept getting upset at brian for not leveling up when she had the chance to level him up so many times but didn't cause she didn't know when u get a level point you can spend it on ANY cat.
Jazzy, please be nice to poor Brian. He's doing his best to catch your attention and make you choose him instead of Kevin.
i love arwell and i cant wait till jazz gets to the end of the game with the 'regular' cats but just a tip. when you play the game later on, you find food being a big issue. so to make sure youre able to satisfy your customers (since food is usually their biggest concern) you should almost always advertise witches and then businessmen since theyre the two most needed resources.
artist are heavy payers and easy pleasers (but tend to have more complex food), punks are easiest to please but low pay. business men are easy to please as well but gold is needed in high excess. and vagabonds are easiest to please and tend to be used less (for theyre only used for chairs which arent needed till postend gameplay where you need a lot of chairs) fisherman mainly need proper social, they tend to like sandwiches too.
also, though this seems weird. bathrooms arent necessary as much till level 2-3 regulars and you need a quality score that reaches above i think a fourth of the quality score. (20/4= 5 bathroom score). cat needs also need to be fufilled but toys and litterbox are less needed as they only stop tasks from appearing which can be taken care of by doing said tasks while scratching poles create trash (i think) and food disables cat score (the things you upgrade: witch, punk, etc.). id also suggest maxing out finely first as she has nice rewards for all of the levels, as for any others. i love arwell and bonner but thats because im a gay man who has a crush and loves bonner's marriage with gavin. though if you wanna max them in a certain order. arwell goes after carla cause of their regular cats for reasons you'll find.
