there is a storage mod and it makes sense instead of throwing everything on the floor or on 50k shelves. However it does store a lot in one storage type depending on what box or industrial shelving you pick. (2500 cells on 3×5 area meaning 75×2500 on 15 squares) very op. but you could pick different types that fit your immersion as to not be too op.

Hey quill this video didn't show up on your video page only on Playlist. Don't know if it is just me or not
like some of the others cannot watch rimworld when there's mods. usually I never mention anything in the comments and just move along. im sure many do this. but i think it is better to inform host.
What's up with people all of a sudden hating on Quill for playing with mods when he has done so for years now?
Can't wait until Quill notices he planted potatoes instead of day lilies. 🤣(But I do kind of love the idea of these poor, stranded colonists being like, "This room is so ugly," and then the one Plant Mom of the group being like, "I know what it needs!" and just going ham with an absurd number of potato plants.)
Anyway, super excited for the new series! Royalty is the only DLC I haven't bought yet because everyone seems to rank it lowest, but maybe this'll inspire me to finally toss the cash at it.
I love your modded playthroughs Quill. Keep playing how you want, and don't worry about anyone saying you HAVE to play vanilla. They'll probably be playing modded before too long as well.

I do believe you have launched a spaceship before in a Rimworld LP before, though not in a long time.
Not exactly related to the game, but an interesting fact regarding real-world soils in rainforests: they're actually quite infertile. It seems unintuitive at first, but it's because nutrients from decaying matter get recycled back into plants so quickly that the soil itself is deficient. Wacky stuff, and yet another reason why clearcutting rainforests is a TERRIBLE idea.

Also, quill, i love your videos (and streams), but the audio of the new microphone is " popping", it has a bit too much of a hiss and it is quite distracting. Any chance to improve it?

Dwarf Fortress is more like a tech test, rimworld is a real game.

Naming a series "Bloody Royals" for a non-Sanguophage run is a VERY Quill thing to do.
'Privacy' is for this who can afford it.
Can't speak from personal experience (never played losing is fun) but someone I watch on twitch has been playing a bunch of recent games on Cassandra+Phoebe and found that Randy kills colonies a lot more easily.
Maybe when colonies get to lategame Randy/Cassandra are similar in difficulty but the chance of getting to that point seems much more likely with Cass.
I agree easy things feel better.
Have a look at the latest modpack by Samuel Streamer. He made an adventure mode for Rimworld, ish

@quill18 What happened to your old mic? It was so much better, it sounded a lot more natural than the new one. The new mic sounds too mechanical, has a bit too much bass and at times it feels like it's a bit too close to your mouth. At least to my ears the difference is very noticeable and I already miss your old, lovely, voice.
