Riding Lost Island's Signature Coaster, Matugani! The Old Kanonen from Liseberg, Now in Iowa!

When Liseberg closed their old Intamin hydraulic launch coaster back in 2016, a lot of people were pretty disappointed. Shortly after though, we heard that the ride had been purchased. It was bought by the owners of Lost Island Water Park, who were making plans for an all new theme park, and needed a signature attraction! In 2023, the ride finally opened to the public, and is running great!

  1. I for one would love to ride this coaster. The park looks amazing, even if it’s a little bare. It’s new and has so much potential, and I hope to see it grow into something great.

  2. You both make me realize how deep my trust issues run. I've never been on a roller coaster with Sunglasses on and not had one hand holding my glasses in place so they don't fall off. Y'all never touch yours and the stay right where they are. Lol.

  3. Park will be great once the trees grow in. Hope they see good attendance. Nice to see investment in a brand new park. Not sure on the location though. Iowa is a weird place to build a theme park.
