  1. It's more fun to travel on unexpected lines when a normal service train does it unexpected. I've done Sheffield to Mexborough via the freight line, also Castleford to Church Fenton. Another unusual line was engineering work on a Sunday between Glasgow Central and East Kilbride we went towards Polmadie and reversed to Muirhouse South Junction!
