With regards to the ent burning situation, I believe what happens is, if the ent walks through water, it will get rid of the fire animation on the ent, but I think the ent continues to burn unless you make him stand still in the water so that the animation occurs where the ent throws water over himself. I've seen it happen in campaign missions where I've ran a burning ent through a river and it looked like the fire was put out, but after reaching the other side of the river, the fire animation reignited. So yeah, it may be a bug and I may be wrong, but that's my theory.
