What do you think of this crazy theory? I think it has a huge chance and regardless, it seems that whoever will be the President will be a big reveal we will see later. A point that I forgot to mention in the video is that Richtofen likely grew up in the US when he entered this new Universe and could’ve been adopted.

I'd think that he was the director of the CIA for a time, given that Laswell is deputy director. This would indeed give him long lasting influence in multiple offices of the government, even paving the way for a presidency. We don't have enough knowledge as to whether or not 935 or the Illuminati exist here in this timeline but those "investors" would fit the bill.
As for Samuel, my headcanon is he encountered a past Richtofen working on the Supersoldaten project and, given his exposure to Dark Aether was a success. He was able to get away, escaping back to his dimension where he kept his identity hidden and made the most of his abilities with a new moniker, König.
