This ernst duffer dude is surely the new warden for Richtofen maybe a longshot.
honestly my only problem with this game so far is that we know what happens to all these characters (they die) and that makes it hard for me to care about them. also does this mean that in bo7 or any future zombies game they have to introduce a new crew. i personally think they should find a way to revive Gray, Carver, and Weaver so they can team back up with Ravenov (unless he dies in the end of mw3 zombies)
I really dont like pack levels, I hope they change it back to a singular pack a punch level
Who cares about Perkaholic when there is no Perk Limit. It becomes less powerful if you can get it by just saving up points. It’s just a shortcut now

To be honest I like the cans look cooler yes I know the bottles are iconic but I think fans fit for the dark aether.
Also that dark aether in the gobblegum cartoon looks better than vangarbages Vangaurd
Once I get the ee done on both maps which it might be hard. I’m only gonna play again using either Brutus or klouds operator (I hope kloud got that oh f*ck like he said back in Cold War mauer der toten, famous last words) I think raptor 1 operators bundle needs to be in the shop for bo6.
imagine if Kortifex is actually Mr Peeks. I mean we never did see him die. Kortifex may return. Maybe if he does, we get a better representation of him
Im doubtful that the perk bottles are returning and i don't think that gobblegums are evidence of that, considering there are guns on gobblegums that weren't obtainable in bo3 and bo4.

I think they have actually made it so you have to pay for your first gobblegum in bo3 again last I checked
I like a lot of this news. Which has me concerned, if they're going to such great lengths to lean into nostalgia… I don't think it's a particularly great sign for how good the mode itself actually is.

I really didn't think perkaholic was that bad, it was strong but I never really felt the need to run it. It saved time for me but it never really made the game easier per say. The only ones I really used a lot were alchemical and phoenix up

So why is Monty not connected? This is the closes to acknowledging him Treyarch have come since AO in Bo4. My biggest problem with the story since bo4 is they just dropped that story and the literal gods from the old universe. They mean nothing now, and that sucks. If Mr. Peeks isn't Dr. Monty, I'm going to be genuinely upset.
It would honestly make a really interesting plot point, when everything got pulled into the dark Aether Monty and Samantha's Teddy merged into Mr. Peeks. The zombies story has been more far fetched.
Im thinking GobbleGum is gonna work similar to MWZ Schematics were you unlock them and then they go on cool down once you use them in game.
My speculation for the documents is related to the Freedom of Information act. This allows any citizen in the US to request any document from any federal building. This was enacted in 1966, however was ammended several times over the years including in 1996 which made it more broad to include and federal agency (like the CIA and FBI), and to include digital documents.
What I think is that its giving backstory on how Duffer serves as a black ops interrogator in Germany where the paper-trail was later destroyed, and then was transferred to terminus (he could have ties to someone involved in Janus). These files were likely stored on a computer and after the FOIA ammendments came into effect the parts of the documentation that were not redacted got shared to the public leading to the rioting seen.

I didn't see the last video so I don't know if you covered it but in channel 2 there are 4 numbers said in the order 7-6-7-5 and it sounds almost like a recording that is messed up because it says the five like fi-i-i-ive

Mr. Peek is eddy’s stuff animal. Also there is lore for him specifically ( the cia Director had a wife and a son, however his house burned down and his wife and son died. It’s said the his son’s soul live in Mr. Peek. ) that’s also why we see the photo of his family at the end of Forsaken. Look back at the origins ee ending cutscene and tell me it’s not “eddy’s turn”
Just a fun fact where Peck points on the map is just barely southwest of where the dead apothican is in the Original Call of Duty Blackops Zombies timeline, so the island does have some significance back in the other games, I just didn't realize it till I checked the coordinates we are given in Black ops zombies and compared them to the map.
