Get some 2wd F250 front springs (coils). That'll give you 1-1.5 inches of lift in the front to fit 32-33 inch tires.
Just be prepared for some colorful language when it comes to camber adjustment… it's tough.
35s will net at least a 4" lift kit ($$$) with drop brackets and (possibly) radius arms.
FYI at the race car shop we bought from Mc master car lengths of O ring and used good quality rtv to join them and it works well. But under extreme pressure maybe not so well but it does exist!

The drain plug is an aftermarket one and your correct it cuts its own threads. I installed one in a customers honda van as he had stripped it. Runs good for sitting for over 4 years! Happy holidays Mortske!!!!

I topped off my 87 Bronco 2 transmission once with whatever I had laying around (2 qts ATF4) and killed the transmission in about 20 miles. lol lesson learned. was about 20 yrs ago..

Hey about that AOD trans. U can hold it in second. I drive mine like a manual all the time & I don't use OD. But pull it down into 1st, run up to speed when u want 2nd & move the selecter into drive & then pull it back down into 1st. It will shift into 2nd & hold it there until u want it to shift into drive.

Cut that catalytic converter out and throw it in the trash the damn thing doesn’t even have the smog pump hooked up good!
9in stopped in 1982, the front diff is a dana 44, the truck has 2 fuel pumps the low pressure one is in the tank and the one on the frame is the high. The gear ratio is a 3.55.
The reason these trucks would have camber issues is not due to the pivot bushings. Either the ball joints are bad or the front springs are sagged out causing negative camber or the springs have been replaced lifting it causing positive camber. Only the short bed came with the small saddle tank.
