  4. Always wondered why Rogue decided to drop Chris into a chasm in this season. Did she know Knuckles was down there to catch him?
    I know Rogue isn't a necessarily good person, but I never pictured her actively letting someone die

  6. While this plot summary makes it sound really cool, I was just never able to get behind Sonic X dub or sub because of the extremely lackluster animation, really let's what could have been a great show for me be just mediocre.

Everyone, If, like me, You like Sonic (which you probably do if you’re watching this video), then I highly recommend Sonic X: Heroes Forever, a really good Sonic Fanfic on Deviantart created by MrBLUERANGERHERO, and Co-Created by Acutie, RifftheWolf and TobyandMavisforever. It’s essentially a retelling of Sonic X, but with aspects of several other Sonic Continuities added in: The Archie Comics (Pre-Reboot), Satam, Aosth, the games (before the start of the Boom continuity), Early Sonic Canon, the Sonic X Comics, Even Underground. The whole thing feels like a massive love letter to the franchise, bringing in characters from throughout the franchise to make something truly amazing. It’s so good, my words can’t possibly do it justice, I recommend Sonic X: Heroes Forever as high as the farthest reaches of the entire Multiverse!!!

  9. What I like about these planets voyages…
    They are actually "alive" and I means that when the heroes fix the environment problem of said planet, they reward them with a Chaos Emerald. NEAT!

  13. So I have a question, on Hulu there's two versions, a sub, and a dub. So my question is, is the dub the 4Kids version, or is it just a dubbed version of the original with none or limited censorship? Also, great video by the way, you did an absolute kick ass job covering this arc and everything that goes down. Keep creating and improving!

  19. I have a funny story regarding the Metarex Arc. When it first aired in my country, many years ago, I only discovered it because I woke up super early one weekend and I watched it on TV; and ever since then, I was forced to wake up early every weekend and record the episodes on VHS.

    This arc was simply amazing and the story was something I wasn't expecting, thanks to its new characters, enemies, events and finale.

    I've been wondering about something: with the recent events and lore from Sonic Frontiers, do you think that, in the future, SEGA will be brave enough to use this anime arc as a new game? I already have some ideas they could use:

    – The Metarex will still be the main threat, but they use The End as a means to do their anime plan of destroying everything
    – Cosmo can still be their guide throughout the adventure, and create links with Sonic's gang
    – the Frontier's combat style can be used here for the battles against the Metarex, with each character having their styles (Knuckles and Amy are brawlers, Tails is a ranged, Sonic and Shadow are quick hit style, etc.)
    – the first battle of the game is the Super Sonic vs. Dark Oak fight, as a Tutorial for the battle mechanics
    – each world has a select number of missions and secondary quests and they are as wide, if not wider, as the Starfall Islands, and the story is divided into 3 Acts, like in the anime

    Any more ideas?

  23. When I was a kid I watched all of the episodes on 4kids' website and loved, I loved it so much that I dreamed of it being adapted into the next "SA3", trying to create a game around the story.

    I watch this beautifully-detailed summary and I FEEL, I REMEBER. All the thoughts I had as a kid and all the emotion surrounding this saga that pushed me to become the fan I am today.

    I had tears back then. . .but I'm bawling now, sobbing in enjoyment, crying for the best moments of my life. Thank you, Chaomix, thank you so much for making this wonderful video, you've truly won my heart.

  26. Okay, I enjoyed the Metarex saga, but I wouldn't say its the greatest Sonic story of all time, especially when you look at the comics. I feel like there were several areas the Metarex saga could have been improved upon.

  27. Now that I think of it, sonic frontiers story is quite similar to the metarex sega, for example "the end" wiping out acient civilians mirroring the war cosmos people had and the heavy reliance on emeralds power to stop the eggs power from getting into dark oak.

  31. Would you believe me that still till this day I have never watched this story arc from beginning to end. It’s like playing a ps2, GameCube, or Xbox game as a kid only for the disc reader to stop working right before you reach the final boss….. IM LOOKING AT YOU SIMPSONS GAME I WILL BEAT YOU ONE DAY!!!!😭

  32. Sonic X Season 4 was my Half-Life 3 growing up. Still praying to this day that we somehow, some way get to see that seed turn into Cosmo so that she and Tails can finally reunite. It'll likely never happen but I can dream.

    Also, for my fellow fan-fic writers, keep in mind that we never actually saw Red Pine die. We just saw him get sucked into a vortex. For all we know, he's still out there plotting revenge. Just something to get those writing almonds activated and inspired. Do with that idea what you will. 😉

  37. Major respect to the writers for making their own original story after the Adventure Arc, and to bring some much action and emotions into it. Especially with the scenes with Molly and Cosmo's sacrifice.
