  1. Another excellent set from Steve et al … the audio quality is just fabulous … band are so so tight … Steve is touring this show in USA in coming months then, in 2024 here in UK, we get to enjoy the next installment with a show that will include highlights from the Lamb Lies Down album (Steve has done up to 4 tracks from this album in previous shows … maybe he will add a few more? … We shall see) … deciding whether to travel from Aberdeen to either Glasgow or Birmingham shows … decisions decisions … Would expect to see the CD set reviewed here high up on folks' album realease of 2023 lists …. CMcG, Aberdeen, Scotland ….

  2. Excellent set – I do have most of these cuts (well the ones I like) already in live form on other albums but this is very good. "Can-Utility And The Coastliners" & "Get 'Em Out By Friday" were new to me (by solo Hackett). I only have the sound files (mp3's) not the hard copy with BD…

Some of my other new recent albums:

Guess Who/Plein D’Amour – I have no issues with this band, sounds like good rock to me, but it's not Guess Who. 7 good tracks. I actually relabeled my sound files as band name = "The (NEW) Guess Who"…
Flaming Bess/Wrinkle Of Time – pretty good new prog
Loonypark/Strange Thoughts – their 2008 album Egoist was better, they're a hit-or-miss band for me

  3. Nice review Pete! I still need to get my copy, hopefully soon. After seeing Steve and the band last year for Seconds Out I nabbed a ticket for the upcoming Foxtrot show November 10th. I can't wait for the show!

  4. I was at the Brighton gig (annual pilgrimage to a Hackett show), and it was just spectacular. Hard to believe how Steve's playing has got better and better over the years. We're so lucky to have him keeping the classic era Genesis flame burning so brightly.

  5. I really love these albums. From the first "Revisited" through to this one, they are all amazing. Obviously I'm a huge early Genesis fan but Steve has done a brilliant job with this series of show.

  6. I saw him perform the Foxtrot at 50 set (+ additions live in Swansea) last year and he was excellent with a spot-on band. I guess he always is; a player that is very serious about what they do and how well they perform.

  7. I got to catch this tour when Steve Hackett played at Hammersmith Apollo in London and as always, it was a fantastic show, 3 straight hours of epic music. A brilliant live 2CD and blu ray set, nothing but true love and respect for the man himself, my all time favourite guitar player from the prog genre. Great review as always
