2 Stress Reducing TIps:
Pilgrimage: To Durin's Hall or Mirrormere, both is close, easy and safe to get to. And Pilgrimage can reduce stress, but it can be expensive.
Hunting: It is a bit tricky, becouse you need to own a land where you can hunt, and well let's just say you can't hunt in caves (unfortunately) So you could make a colony in Mirrormere, where you can hunt, plust the special building +1Prestiege and +50% stress loss is a VERY decent buff! (altho keep in mind that some surface buildings are unavailable to you but still, it's a neat trick)

You should keep the Golden Hall as you could spend gold and build it up when in the non dormant phase and it don't cause it to move towards active as it's not in the struggle region. Not to mention the extra income and things from there is good. The person you granted the title to will probably break the betrothal now they are landed, so your dynasty will never inherit it.
A way I always get gold or a perk I always get on any character not matter who they are is Golden Obligations, it allows you to get gold of people if you have a hook on them. Simple put your spymaster to look for secrets and you can blackmail and get loads if people have the gold and if they don't they won't scheme at you if you have the hook. With the amount of plots going on in your realm, you are bond to get loads
Question, is the region of the Mirrormere inside the Moria struggle area?
Dwallin II is the one to kill the Balrog, blademaster and herculean, impatient and brave. Great story and roleplay.
I love this series and will watch it to the end and I dont know if you see it or not but there is a decision to restore the throne of durin

To Dwalin II of Balin's Expedition,
Once you finish your crafting lifestyle I would recommend going down the stewardship lifestyle tree and pick-up divided attention, for the plus two domain holdings. For you are a Dwarf and have a long live ahead of you if you take things cautiously. Remember if you dare to fight the Balrog you should find a suitable Elf friend to help you slay it.

Fabricate claims on the lands in Moria that are still held by goblins. You will lose some progress in the struggle for the wars, but you will ultimately gain progress because goblins will be fully expunged from the mountains and no longer raiding and building stuff in them.
There's alot of 'Schemes' you could have Dwalin do while you play the waiting game.
Like Learning Languages (Again), I think the Culture group is wife is from has a different common tongue than yours, and…….the Elves again.
Not to mention doing so before having kids would make it so they could learn them while growing up.
You could always do a Cultural Divergence for the New Kingdom of Moria or even a Faith Alteration if we are feeling bold.

Good morning I have a question. Your new character seems like the perfect one to kill the Balrog he's brave He's a blade master. He's a Warrior his Prowess is up there. I've been wondering, can you check the prowess for dwarves? Cause you're up in the 50s. I wanted to know if you're in the top for dwarves
If you are rich enough you can easily get always to the dormat Phase. If areas are returned to the wilderness, you get 10 points for Wanderung Phase or the Dormat Phase. So you can colonize provinces wait a month and return them and you get points. So you can build as much as you want and it only taken like a 1000 Gold to get to a calming Phase.
Better get Dwalin 2 to start befriending some tough elves like Glorfindel for the showdown with the Balrog!

I've also started trying this start. I think because you're constantly on 5 speed and doing very little other than waiting, the game tries to fill in and starts producing a shit ton of plots in your court.
You should go and colonize the mines just above you, they are only 2 tiles way and have the mithril building too.
