  1. Hey everyone, check out the description then leave a comment if youโ€™d like! Thereโ€™s a light build list in the video description and a couple links ๐Ÿค™ Some of the clips have a bit of wind noise so I think Iโ€™ll get a wind reduction thing for some of the windier days, going forward.
    Cheers! ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿคฉ
See you in the next video!

  2. I was super impressed with how you handled those TINY bearings! wow! I would have lost half of them. And you did it while wearing gloves! Great video, I enjoy watching people taking older machines and making them useful again. Thank you for sharing!
I liked the riding footage too. I was impressed with the variety of non-automobile transport other people were using as well. Where I live 99.9% of people use automobiles and if the ride it's an exercise bike indoors.

  3. Nice! I worked on this same frame as a courier for years! Hey, get rid of the pepperoni death trap fork though, those were recalled because alloy forks are sketchy as hell and always fail. The headtube is 1 1/4, so you can easily put a 1 1/8 threadless headset and fork with a problem solvers adaptor. ๐Ÿค™

  4. Thanks for your inspiration. I just refurbished an '90s Giant Nutra. Cleaned up the rust with brushes, coke and aluminum foil. Kept the patina on the bars, frame and seat post. Added a new saddle, grips and fenders. Looks and rides great.

  5. Renaissance cycles (where this bike was originally purchased) was my bike shop growing up. It still exists today. The new owners (hilltop ie specialized) kept the renaissance name since it has some history.

  6. Why would you "usually use cantilevers" – to stay true to the time the bike came from? V-brakes break much better, which makes them the more reasonable choice IMO if you intend to use the bike. Great vid!

  8. Hi Adam! Do your 1x builds have chaindrop when backpedaling? If so how do you work around it? I like 3x's but seeing your builds especially this one have spurred my interest. Cheers and ride slow! m/

  10. Thanks. I bought a 1993 Trek Single Track a year and a half ago. US Steel โ€œcromeollyโ€ stiff and responsive. Great old frames. Iโ€™ve yet to do much modding other than the seat and crank set. One thing at a time. Itโ€™s such a great ride I rarely miss my racing bike. ๐Ÿ˜Š
