David Nicklas developed Rogue Wave Surfboard Repair, an app that makes it easy to connect surfers with the surfboard-repair services he provides in Los Angeles. Here, David walks us through how he repairs a vintage 1960s Dewey Weber surfboard shaped by the legendary JoJo Perrin. The process includes scraping off board wax, cleaning the board, fixing large patches of delamination, filling dings, applying hot coat to waterproof the board, then sanding and polishing to finish. The entire process takes 20 hours, but it extends the lifetime of this rare surfboard, making it water-ready.

  7. Beautiful work!! Love Weber family. Used to surf for them when I was little in san clemente. I still have all my old boards, performer, pig, stylist. How much would it cost to restore a 6' board ?

  11. Interesting and talented workmanship 🙌🏽 It might sound strange at first, but please hear me out 🙏🏽. So the bible says we've all sinned and fallen short of God's glory. You and I have broken God's commandments and just as if you were in a court of law for a crime you commited you would receive a sentence, in the same way God has to sentence us into eternal damnation unless someone pays the fines for our sins. So the thing is we are all damned and are to receive God's wrath and punishment on us.

    So here's the saving grace, Jesus Christ, a man with flesh and everything like you and I, was born of the virgin Mary with the Holy Spirit, lived a perfect sinless life here on earth and therefore didn't have to die, (the reason why people die is because they've sinned against God and death is how we are repaid for our sins), however Jesus did not sin at all, but still died for the sins of you, I and the world and now we can stand right before God 🌎♥️✝️ He rose again on the 3rd day and ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father (God). And with that, God so loved the world 🌍♥️🤞🏽that He gave his only son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life ✨✝️.

    God laid all the punishment for your sin on His Son so that you could be set free and stand right before Him, man ain't that love 🙌🏽✝️❤️

    So what we all have to do is turn from our sinful ways (repent), don't call on and pray to other false Gods, don't believe in anything like karma or that stuff, and put our hope, trust and faith ONLY in Jesus as our Lord and saviour✝️❤️🙌🏽 Call on to Him cause he's TRULY the only one that has you 💯

    I know this could've sounded weird and things, but please hear me out, it could be the most important message you ever heard in your life 🙌🏽✝️❤️ God commands us to turn from our sinful ways, repent. And like I said before put your faith in Jesus and TRULY TRULY follow Him.

    So the question to ask oneself is is my life right with Jesus Christ, do I really know Him and does He know me, am I going to heaven? And when we ask these questions we shouldn't be relying on our own answers but instead looking at what the word of God says 🙌🏽✝️📖
