  1. "The problem is that this requires 7 mana to play this combo. But, we can solve this with this 6 mana creature…" So, uhhh, ramping up by playing on curve? I'm not sure if I follow.

  2. Whenever I get roped, I rope right back. I also set a stop on their upkeep to make them wait a little longer to see their draw. My opponents make the crucial mistake of thinking I'm not every bit as petty as they are.

  3. That reminds me of infinite combo with Rakdos Joins Up / Abuelo's awakening/ Hulking Metamorph, except that was 2color and required only 4 mana. That was faster, but this dodges instant speed removal (but not marginal lifegain)

  4. I love a good Colossification reanimation. It reminds me of Storm Herald combos and figuring out the jankiest possible aura to combo with the Herald and the Big Cat to let me swing in immediately (I remember using Triclopean Sight (+1/+1, vigilance, untap the enchanted creature on ETB), with the backup copies being Mirror Mockery (when enchanted creature attacks, create a token copy of that creature, which you exile at the end of combat)). Good times.

  5. You almost said it, but, yes – Monstrous Rage is EASILY the most important card in mono-Red or it's 2-color variants. Like, yeah, you need good targets and a strong game-plan too, but I don't think any of the alternatives to Rage could take it's place if Rage didn't exist or was banned. The +3 and trample is the best you typically get for 1 mana, but I think it's the +1 toughness that doesn't go away that makes it actually possible a little too strong; it makes direct damage and trades far harder than it probably should be in an environment like Standard. Not far enough over the line to ban, though.

  6. Zordeater turned being a tool into performance art. 1.) Mocking a brew while playing a net deck is a special flavor of swamp water. 2.) Good gaming while depending on three consecutive dead top decks. 3.) Oops spamming while misplaying, 4.) Salt roping a top deck while winning [first time I've seen that – chef's kiss], and 5.) BMing one of the most positive players in the game. Zordeater, you're the GOAT.

  7. Aging has made me rarely have channels like yours where I genuinely sit here and enjoy the content. Thank you for being you, thank you for existing, thank you for staying fun and friendly, I will have to find a way to support you by buying a shirt or two. Thank you
