These cluster boxes were installed by the developer and are private property just as the mailbox on your front porch or at your curb is your responsibility.
Quickest solution is to put a hold on your mail and pick it up directly at the post office, but if too many folks start doing that, they will change the rules.
I live in a rural area and they hit and destroyed over eighty mail boxes. We now have to pick our mail up at the post office until they fix them.

Normally, we have tons of mail almost every day. We haven't had any mail for the last few days…. time to get a camera!
