A Gold Edition of the game is available on October 28, 2022 with the Winters Expansion included which comprises 3 more additional characters to The Mercenaries (Village), 3rd person perspective and over the shoulder gameplay and new story Shadows of Rose which focuses on Rosemary Winters 16 years after the main game. Resident Evil Village, stylised as RESIDENT EVIL VII.I.AGE is a first person Survival Horror title developed by Capcom. It will be released on May 7 2021. It will be the first Resident Evil game for the ninth console generation.

Years after the events of Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Ethan Winters has started over with his wife Mia, finally living in peace and putting the past behind them. However, Chris Redfield, the legendary hero from previous Resident Evil games, suddenly disrupts their life, throwing a devastated Ethan into a new and twisted nightmare in search of answers. The story is set in an isolated mountainous region around a village and the 15th century Castle Dimitrescu, where Ethan and Mia Winters fled in the years following the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. During the events of the game, an apparent Blue Umbrella operation led by BSAA Cpt. Chris Redfield assaults the village, sending the two men on radically different paths. Capcom has since confirmed the attacker is indeed Chris, and that Ethan’s story will come to a conclusion.

The game is designed in a similar manner as 2017’s Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, being a first person game with Survival Horror gameplay mechanics. The enemies are currently not yet known, though one of the enemies is human with canine attributes, invoking a mutation comparable with werewolves. These enemies can hunt the player in packs to be more dangerous. Like Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, this game uses its own currency mechanic. In this case, it uses the Leu, the name of Romania and Moldova’s respective currencies.

  11. I'm srry the new RE stuff is hella mid. Sound design not gettin enough love. Its too damn QUIET if you know what I mean. The classic RE4 almost ALWAYS had SOME form of audio playing in the background of every room and when enemies came into the area YOU'D KNOW cuz the "it's about ta go down" music would play. THE MUSIC and SOUND DESIGN was a HUGE factor for RE4 and RE5 (they're the two TOP SELLING RE GAMES TO DATE) And I'm not a fan of this new aiming retacle. It slows the gameplay down. Why can't she just pull out her weapon and it automatically be focused and ready to use? Also the item drops from downed enemies were ALOT BETTER

  43. I had high hopes for this DLC, but now that I have watched some gameplay, don't think I will get it. Not a fan of all the goop and the soul sucking ghouls. As for third person, don't care for it personally as I like the first person mode better.

  47. I really wanna watch this walkthrough, usually I watch Markiplier but he’s takin forever to upload the next part lol but this guys speed is a little too slow for me. It’s makin me super impatient lol
