A Gold Edition of the game is available on October 28, 2022 with the Winters Expansion included which comprises 3 more additional characters to The Mercenaries (Village), 3rd person perspective and over the shoulder gameplay and new story Shadows of Rose which focuses on Rosemary Winters 16 years after the main game. Resident Evil Village, stylised as RESIDENT EVIL VII.I.AGE is a first person Survival Horror title developed by Capcom. It will be released on May 7 2021. It will be the first Resident Evil game for the ninth console generation.

Years after the events of Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Ethan Winters has started over with his wife Mia, finally living in peace and putting the past behind them. However, Chris Redfield, the legendary hero from previous Resident Evil games, suddenly disrupts their life, throwing a devastated Ethan into a new and twisted nightmare in search of answers. The story is set in an isolated mountainous region around a village and the 15th century Castle Dimitrescu, where Ethan and Mia Winters fled in the years following the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. During the events of the game, an apparent Blue Umbrella operation led by BSAA Cpt. Chris Redfield assaults the village, sending the two men on radically different paths. Capcom has since confirmed the attacker is indeed Chris, and that Ethan’s story will come to a conclusion.

The game is designed in a similar manner as 2017’s Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, being a first person game with Survival Horror gameplay mechanics. The enemies are currently not yet known, though one of the enemies is human with canine attributes, invoking a mutation comparable with werewolves. These enemies can hunt the player in packs to be more dangerous. Like Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, this game uses its own currency mechanic. In this case, it uses the Leu, the name of Romania and Moldova’s respective currencies.

    Edit: man this dlc is so interesting. Rose goin into moldy fuckland, and the ghosty writing guy is super cool. I like how he talks to Rose to try n help her or calm her down, n how you can just go to that room to have a lil chat with them. So stinkin cool.

Using a mouse and keyboard on a console only goes as fast as a controller will go.for a example if u spam the mouse left and right it won't go far as your limit is as fast as a response as a controller.there for a reason so u don't have a massive advantage compare to a PC player.if that makes sence lol

  35. Can anyone please help me I can't find shadows of rose in the bonuses section on my xbox series X I've uninstall village 😫 reinstalled it and bought the winters expansion and still no joy I'm fucking pissed off does anyone know something I don't 😤 please

  37. I am honestly disappointed. I had hoped Rose would be accepting of her more-than-human life, but nope. the writers decided to maintain the trend of "humans are good and superpowers are evil" which is a thing Stargate is well-known for doing. It seems that any military-esque franchise has a high focus on villifying superpowers in one way or another. in this case, they took it a step further and had Rose despise her abilities and desire to be normal. I am honestly tired of this story tactic. Personally, I'd love to be superpowered. As an introvert, my life wouldn't change much and I wouldn't have the need to be considered cool by everyone else. Rose is evidently the reverse, since she's only an introvert due to her own self-hatred born from people treating her like shit.

  40. Don’t know if it’s been said but you have to unlock the new characters In mercs by unlocking them by getting all stages and a certain grade on them. Funny how buying it wasn’t enough lol
