Resident Evil Village (1440/60) : No Saves, No Deaths, New Game, Village Of Shadows, No Commentary

February 9th, 2021, Ethan Winters attempts to live out his life in peace in Europe with his now cured wife Mia Winters and their new baby daughter Rose Winters, though the married couple disagreed on how they should approach life following the Baker Incident that occurred nearly 4 years ago. A rift began to grow between them as Mia wanted to completely forget the past, doing everything she could to blend in with the locals and Ethan was incredibly cautious, never fully convinced they were safe while also wanting to keep his daughter away from what happened in 2017. This peace would be shattered and grinded into dust unfortunately, as a bullet seemed to strike Mia in her chest in the middle of another argument. before he could do anything to help her however, several bullets sprayed into the house and many struck his wife. As Ethan sat there scared, confused, and saddened, one of his perpetrators revealed the face. To his shock and his anger, it was Chris Redfield, the man who rescued him in 2017; but why would he do this to Mia? To make matters worse, Chris took Rose from him and ordered one of his men to knock Ethan out. As Ethan laid unconscious, he remembered Mia wanting to tell him something, but he soon awakens to him laying face first in the snow and seeing a crashed vehicle with the dead bodies of several of the men who attacked his house. Unfortunately, there was no sign of Chris or his daughter, forcing him to begin a new story filled with shadows… Enter the next chapter of Ethan Winters’ story, enter RESIDENT EVIL VILLAGE.

Welcome to Resident Evil Village, released and set in 2021, nearly 4 years since Ethan's horrifying experience at the Baker Estate in Louisianna. Ethan and Mia attempt to live out the rest of their lives happy, though a rift grew between them over the years, strangely more apparent in the recent months, due to disagreements on how Louisianna should be processed. However, the two would eventually get through each rough patch and they both had immense love for their baby daughter Rose Winters. This would be cut short however as several masked men gunned down Mia Winters and took both Ethan and Rose hostage. The most surprising part of it all, was the fact that Chris was the main perpetrator behind this horrifying incident and the beginning of a new nightmare. Ethan would however learn about Chris' reasoning and the uncomfortable truth Ethan was too blind to see. Next time, I will be undertaking Rose Winters' own debut story as she attempts to release herself from her abilities in Resident Evil Village : Shadows of Rose! Stay tuned! Thanks for watching!
