Why don't you increase production in the electronics factory by clicking the little grey clock icon on the right of each Shift tab?
Tunnels are a very good way to connect domes if you do not want to have a long cable/pipe. Be careful, they are expensive with machine parts, one meteor can ruin the connection. Best to get lasers first. For cross map building, you can chain tunnels or drone commanders and flying drones with resource depots within drone range. Final push before late game, you got this 👍👍
