Nice results. The Ghazkul model is intimidating. I say this with over 40 years of building and painting experience! I think mine will end up wearing Deathskull Blue. Maybe he fell asleep and was adopted before he woke up…
Alice is awesome, I know she doesn't get as much love as she should since her channel is a lil smaller than everyone else's … but im a super fan of hers lol, she's crazy cool! ๐ค๐ผit's super dope that she sent you all that cool stuff, a big box of plastic would always make me happy! Ghaz looks dope man, love how you made it unique to your army… it's well done my friend. Play on playa ๐ค๐ผ๐ค๐ผ
That yellow-and-teal combination is very striking. The design of the current Ghazgkull reminds me a bit of a Transformer, at least the Bayformers, which is appropriate for all things Ork-y. That's why I think I'd paint him like a red muscle-car with flames painted on it. ๐
Great job! Not only is that the best Ork model in the the range, but to me personally itโs one of the most intimidating of any GW model; I wouldnโt know where to begin!
i have to rescue mine as well … i painted him up really nicely.. was about to take pictures… put the other minis asid.. realised the magnets were not sticking like they should… put him down… went to get the superglue for the magnets… came back to the photobox. Sat right down on the chair… where he was placed on and i heard some cracking noises and knew…its over
Cool vid, I love the color scheme. My only thing is when working in yellow and green. I feel a warm brown zenithal is the way to go. Something like a burnt umber up to white. It gives the yellow more vibrancy imho. With a warm color palette, it allows you to play w/ greens and reds. I love copper and verdigris for that, blood, moss. Yellow is fun. You're a great artist, love the work.
Amazing work dude, Mr. Thraka looks awesome! The power klaw turned out great โค
Guitar strings for tubes
You've come a long way!
Hey, could you link the ultrasonic cleaner you use. Iโm thinking of buying one.

Huzzah! Top Notch and great save sir. Is there a month for Goblins?
Maybe I'll finish my boyz
But what about Makari? His little banner bearer. Or is he stuck underneath Ghaz again?
I have the old ghaz in metal if you'd like it. It's an extra I picked up in a lot. (Edit: the middle ghaz just before the newest one)
I ALMOST BOUGHT THE RECIPT ROLL STOMPA FOR BITS
i can't wait to see what you do with it
This old model is pathetic ๐
Do you varnish your minis as well as your bases?
The new Ghazghkull model is amazing wish I had more than one I wanna paint him as something other than a Goff.
You can no longer say you only paint grim dark, colors are phenomenal. Amazing job Casey!!
It's always nice to see any paint scheme other than goff's.
More dakka!!!!
Ironjawz style
In Flames ๐ค
Always enjoy your painting and resue videos.
pretty cool!

18:25 Holy shit you bought that thing? I was watching that FOREVER they were just charging way too much for it.

Nice shirt! and an even nicer paintjob on Ghaz!
Thanks for all the tips. Love the paint job. Time to pull out my pile of shame and start back on it
in flames nice shirt. I guess you found a sense of purpose.
I really like your airbrushing! I enjoyed seeing how you rescued that bad ass model.

"… and luckily looks pretty unique"
looks at my own ork army that uses the same rusty metal resin bases ๐
This was awesome. Ataraxia is incredibly kind and her videos are great. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
I have a technical question- how do models with custom green stuff [or other molding] hold up to vibration baths, and chemicals?

Edgerunner Ghazkull
Waaaagh indeed.

Oh, those are definitely receipt rolls. And I just sprayed the camo on to my faux Russ using silly putty to mask and it worked great! Top tip.
It's a shame that GW is retiring Ghazghkull Thraka's nemesis, Imperial Commissar Yarrick
Painting channel ran by Casey.
"This base has a lot of detail. Yeah I'm not gonna paint it."
Dude stellar end product. ๐ค๐ค
It's cool but without the red and checkering it misses out on the ork vibes.
