Doggy friends are hard to come by, especially when it's a nightmare when we have issues with other dogs having a go at our dogs because of other peoples dogs.
Im a small woman but when I say NO, my big active doggos know I mean business. Lower the voice and project the power. I feel for this dear woman, it's the wrong dog for her, and she has a good heart.

When my dog gets a bit confused when we walk past other dogs, cause he wanna say hi but is very excited about it, I always try to make him to sit. Its not actually because i want him to sit, its just cause i want him to think of other things. I hope this lovely lady and lovely dog can start to heal eachother instead of the lonely feeling.

NOPE!!! Please look what CESAR MILAN teaches and practice it, otherwise you are doing NO RESCUING of a great German Shepherd dog! Please have the courage to change yourself and train the dog or look for a new home with people who UNDERSTAND German Shepherds. I speak Spanish and live in Germany, I wish I had this dog, I‘m about to rescue another one, but a GSD from Latin America is a great match for a Spanish speaking person, but above all it MUST BE a person who KNOWS how to train the dog, bond with the dog and LOVE THE DOG correctly, someone withe time, knowledge, energy and the heart for the DOG. Your brother wanted THAT for that dog.

All shepherds are highly intelligent 👌 but the rescue ones are often like this.
Definately yanky was taken from his mum and litter mates too early,I hope he continues to improve so that he and the lady can have calm happy walks together
The owner is more anxious than dog, she doesn't remain calm. Thats the start of the problem
