I have no doubt that a large minority of Democrats have their hearts in the right place; the problem is their brains do not function properly. They are not necessarily stupid, but their ignorance is overwhelming. Worse, they are intentionally ignorant. The deliberately resist learning. Long before humams appeared, this planet has had cycles of glacial and interglacial periods. At present, we are in an interglacial period that inevitably be followed by anothere Ice Age. We have no power to stop that cycle. Yet the ignorant continue to insist that we "fight climate change". It is a futile battle and, if we continue to fight climate change, we will lose. And the fight will have casualties; not millions, but billions face starvation because of it.
