Remote ice camping + incredible fishing! (part 2 of 2)

Join us on this 2 part series as we head deep into the wilderness to chase Lake Trout and Whitefish! Due to the sheer distance, we opt to ice camp to increase fishing time and have some incredible success. Join us here for Part 2 as we put some incredible fish on the ice!

This was our first time ice camping and it wont be our last. To other experienced ice campers out there, what is some necessary gear on your list? I think we really need to upgrade our cots for this coming Winter ha.

  1. Nice job man. Oh them big slab whitey's.. paper bag on the grill. Can't beat that. Great content. 👍 and relatively easy to get if you can just find them. Big fan of yours over here in the U.P. no ice yet still fishing little bay de noc in boats crushing the eyes. Look forward to your next video. And thanks for the incredible content.

  2. Ditch your cots, total waste of space and weight. Get yourself nemo Insulated pads. Put down tarp on the ground/ ice and pad on top of it. -20/-40f sleeping bag and you're set. Keep your stove legs up on a couple pieces of wood to keep ice/ snow melt to a minimum.
