iirc this same dev made a game called Xenomarine. might also be worth a look. Although the presentation of that game is a bit bad.
Seems like it's still got a lot of cookie dough in the middle and could use some more time in the oven. It's got a lot of the standard elements of this kind of game but seems a little directionless. Early access and all, but I'm just not seeing the hook.

What I need is a CASUAL and STREAMLINED take on Drox Operative 1/2, not an even more complex version that replaces simplicity of ARPG gameplay with turn-based neutonian physics, roguelikeness and whatnot. Oh, well :/
