  1. I don't wanna hear about how Bill no longer has McDaniels or Scarnecchia or any other coach. WHO'S FAULT IS THAT!?!? Bill was not properly prepared for Brady to leave. He was not properly prepared for McDaniels to leave. He was not properly prepared for Scarnecchia to leave. WHY!?!? Why was there no succession plan for ANY of these guys to leave!?!? It's insane. He had to know and fully understand the importance of their roles and yet there was never a plan in place for any of their departures. This is, arguably, his biggest failure. He replaced one of the league's better OC's with a guy who NEVER COACHED OFFENSE IN HIS LIFE. It was born from a level of arrogance that borders on insanity. On top of ALL of that, the man will be SEVENTY TWO YEARS OLD in the spring. Enough. It's time to move on. Landry was 64. Shula was 66. Noll was 59. Bill will be 72 in April. Do the math.

  2. Of course it’s about the people around him, but he is responsible for literally everything. He put these people there. He always wants to promote from within, and when the cover was left bare with McDaniels, Scar, Caserio, and a slew of others leaving, not to mention Brady, there was nothing.

Since we ALL agree that the problem is everyone else what is Bb going to do about it? Will he take responsibility and say “This has gotten out of hand, and I don’t have it under control anymore. Let’s bring in a GM, a whole new offensive staff, etc.”?

Reiss himself has said there’s no way he will give up GM power. So, what are we talking about?

IF Bill agrees to clean house both personal and coaches on offense, special teams, scouting, etc. maybe he can make a case.

Also, this is not an albatross of a season that Mike makes it out to be. The roster/team has been in clear decline for half a decade! That’s 1/4 of the Patriots dynasty! What are we talking about?

  3. Kraft fires Bill and the Patriots will suck for the next 20 years. Has anyone stopped to think about what would happen over the next 10 years if he goes to a top ten team? Everyone is done. Bill will win 6 SBs in 10 years and Patriot fans will question the Krafts on moving on from Bill. I honestly would rather see Kraft leave before Bill any day of the week and I like Robert Kraft. Look. We lost Brady but in all reality it was around the corner regardless so let’s all get over it. The roster was falling apart Brady’s last year with guys retiring, leaving on the offseason or getting traded for future roster pieces. That being said, the defensive is very solid, special teams needs a bit more consistency to be back at its game affecting status and the offense is 2 linemen, a QB, a WR and another RB away from being a problem to deal with for any defense. I trust Bill and love the pieces he’s been adding over the last three years. Just get a QB and a WR and I see them being a threat in the playoffs next year.

  4. OK. Let's roll some video tape on Bill: "Here's Bill bringing in Josh Gordon when Tom needed receivers; and here's Bill trying to replace Tom with Jimmy G.; and here's Bill bringing in Cam Newton, past his prime; here's Bill drafting N'keal Harry in the first round; and in this clip, here's Bill benching Malcolm Butler in the darn SUPERBOWL." Now let's roll the tape of Bill continuously improving his support staff of coaches. ……… I can't seem to find any videos of this.

  5. When Joe Montana left SF, the niners had Steve Young, Jerry Rice, and Roger Craig. Really not fair to Belichick. It happens, Mac Jones didn't work out, there were red flags about him being a crybaby and whiner, but with that said, letting Belichick go would be the dumbest thing the Patriots have ever done. There is no better X's and O's coach than him. You want to get rid of Belichick just so you can downgrade your head coaching position? It's asinine. Finally, in recent years, the Patriots have had good drafts: Kyle Dugger and Cole Strange was just coming into his own. Then Keion White and Gonzalez. Belichick's drafts haven't been a total failure. You can win with Zappe if you get 1-2 weapons. I would draft Marvin Harrison and then an offensive lineman, followed by picking up a WR and OL in free agency. Our defense is gonna be one of the best next year, if not the best.

  6. Kraft better not let the media manipulate him into making a move because it was their bullshit that gave us O'brien in the first place. we don't need josh mcdaniels . I just want zappe and I want bill belichick to coach him up one year. I want to see what bill can do with zappe. no bullshit. I want Harrison teamed with zappe live or die.
    I always liked zappe's heart.

  7. HC vs GM …"and i think if you asked the fans…" what the fuck are we doing here? media controls self-serving shit-stirring narratives, audience – wanting to sound as informed as media pretends to be bc they got not a gd thing else going on in their lives – eat it up hand over fist, without apparent thought or question. reinforcing media's control of self-serving shit-stirring narratives. it's cyclical cynical bullshit, idk how you're all not getting called out about it …constantly.
