Redeveloping Downtown with New Skyscrapers! | Verde Beach 110

Hello everyone and welcome back to Verde Beach! In this episode, we’re going to take the first steps towards adding the new Skyscrapers Content Creator Pack towers to the downtown area. Initially, I was going to place all of the towers quickly, but since this is redevelopment, we’re going to have to be a bit more thoughtful about the process. We’ll add in a number. Enjoy!

  1. I think there's a good opportunity to increase tourist visitation of the new buildings by putting in a tourist bus route, perhaps. It would certainly be a good way to justify the huge investment in the infrastructure.

  2. 18:10 this is just me being picky, as someone with a pool and does the maintenance myself. Tree's ruin it, leaves daily and if left unchecked easy time for algae to appear
edit: Its my neighbours tree and I dont have the heart to tell them to chop it down after it being there for decades

  3. The Australia Triangle is the Australia Square building from Sydney. Yes, Australia Square was round, so now you know why the creator called in Australia Triangle. Yet another regular shape bearing no relevance to the actual architecture 😉

  4. Bank built in 1984… I was 4 years old back then. Just thought it funny when you said "a little bit older than me". I thought you were way younger. 🙂

  5. Building a huge tower on top of a metro tunnel has been done before. Montparnasse tower in Paris was built on top of metro Line 6 tunnel. They incorporated the tunnel into the tower's foundations and remade it as a square when it goes through the foundations.

Having all towers on the seaside blocking the view of the rest Miami style is not good. I's rather have the tallest buildings be further from the Seaside so the city goes like a crescendo imo.
Verde Beach isn't that big of a city, I'd have placed the smallest buildings first, especially if you chose the Seaside.

  6. For my eyes the National trade tower would rather be based upon the Oxford Tower (right next to Marriott in Warsaw) or a mix of those two c: . Also – when you attempted to build the pedestrian bridge in front of it, it would actually be correct – there is one between the podiums of the Oxford Tower and the Marriott Hotel, and many more were planned towards the north, to the Central Railway Station and further, but were never (in my opinion fortunately) built. The area is an urbanism-hellscape even without them! 😅

  7. Loving all the builds! Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet but the large trees overhanging the homes with solar panels (right after the wall to wall conversion) seems a bit off to me due to shadows and leaves obstructing the panels during daylight hours.

  8. I had one of my best ideas ever that you could add in any of your cities:

A little Easter egg, if you will, involving 2 roads that have a T intersection. Name the road that continues on through the T “Nord Street,” and name the one that terminates at the junction after Phillip with 2 Ls. It’ll represent how Phillip is stopped by NordVPN and personally I think it’s funny even if it’s pointless.

  9. I like to imagine that the bottom floor of the national trade center is essentially like a terrarium, looking out on all this green and earth. I feel like that, along with a carefully cultivated grounds could look really beautiful, even with windows that are essentially facing the dirt.
