Apologies for repeating myself to those who read this in a reply to a comment but wanted to post as a comment as well to get others thoughts.
It was really refreshing to see an offensive breakout like this! Of course as a life long Red Sox and one way before 04 and on I know better to get my hopes up. But the always optimistic Sox fan in me hopes this will be the game when looking back got a nice deep playoff and World Series run started!
The schedule is freaking brutal for us down the stretch and easily could end what little hope is left in the next two weeks. But if we are able to get through and win 2 or 3 of the next 4-5 series on the schedule and split the others, look out for the Red Sox in October folks because every team we face in that stretch could easily win the Series this year and to accomplish this we need more games like tonight and essentially play every game from here on out as a playoff game!
I believe in this team! I feel like it's finally all starting to click in every aspect but with the schedule remaining if there is even one week of bad baseball for us it's gonna be to much to overcome even for the third wild card spot! Anyone else agree?

Would have been even more demoralising for Astros if Turner had seriously hurt himself trying to prevent that last home run pitch from Maldonado.
He bent his body.up pretty bad so will be interesting if he plays next game.
I mean if the offense could just be a tiny bit more consistent. Getting swept by the Jays a couple weeks ago really hurt their chances. What’s more if they had found a way to sweep this series they’d be a half game behind Houston. These are actually fairly equal teams which no one would’ve guessed when the season started.

It looks like the Patriots have a decent offense this year putting up a couple of Touchdowns and a field goal. But the defense looks phenomenal holding the Houston Texans to just a Extra point without even giving up a touchdown. 17-1 how does that even work?

thanks to this game now JP's ERA is 3.50 and he probably won't have a chance at winning Rookie of the Year anymore. Why did Dusty leave him in? This was just a bad game overall for the Astros but the Sox came to play. Good game Boston
