  1. On June the 8th, on the Tuolmne River, it was high water and cold as hell. I'd asked "M" if we’d need “Farmer John” wet suits for the trip. He said,” No. ‘No need.” But when we arrived, he’s wearing one. Wyn never forgave me for that trip. Soaked to the skin (Wyn and I) our teeth chattered constantly for eight hours non-stop. It snowed when we were taking the boats out at the end of the trip. At 6:30 as we were pulling out the inflatable boats and hauling them up the hill to the parking lot, eight very fit men in their late twenties with short hair and full beards pulled up in their kayaks at the takeout. Two of them took off running. They ran back the seventeen miles to the put-in to get their trucks. None of these guys would talk to us, not even to the very pretty women. (I personally suspect they were part of the “Red Cell”, Richard Marcinko’s SEAL team Six, on a Training Op? Maybe?…Just a thought…?)

  2. I read his book years ago in the mid 90s he was a true Patriot who put the needs and safety of the country first . Unlike ALL of our current politicians who put themselves and party first and second.

  3. If they really did that to the security guard than yes they deserved to be shut down and fuck them. As soon as the guy was captured they could have held him but let him know "hey were not the bad guy but if we were we would be torturing you right now"

  4. A red cell "after Marcinco" operator was killed in Groton Connecticut in the early 80s. They were having divers walk up docked submarines and take over the subs. Basically they would sneak up on guards and say bang your dead. And then go down into the sub unnoticed until they woke the Commander and told him they just compromised his boat. They did that to a few boats until on the 3rd or 4th, a sentry saw the diver climbing onto his sub and then shot and killed him. I was told this story in Sub school by a teacher. I'm sure they kept this incident hush hush.

  5. I met him at his Red Cell book signing in So.Bend, IN back in the day. You'd never look at him the way he was dress that he could kill you without breaking a sweat. Super cool person in normal real live. RIP Richard Marcinco.

  6. The QUESTION IS….Did the GOVERNMENT LEARN something from this video? You see, I've been extremely well versed with the shark man of the deltas methods and were ALL A TON SAFER BECAUSE of his physical exposure to OUR COUNTRYS WEAKNESSES. NOW the cia does this ON PAPER? YHA…mabey, just mabey a few LIVE EXERCISES but were ALL a LOT more vulnerable because some commanders WERENT MAN ENOUGH to admit their shortcomings and correct the problems. THESE GUYS CHOSE TO PROTECT THEIR CAREERS OVER OUR COUNTRYS SAFETY…WERE I COME FROM THATS NOT VEIN A MAN, TGATS BEIN A COWARD. God Bless you commander, R I P

  8. I honestly think, after reading his book, that he was a very charismatic psychopath, that the Navy, spec ops, and everything else were just means for him to have his fun. Not saying that he wasn't a great operator tho.

  9. My father was a combat demolition diver in the seabees in the early 80s and he knew a few of the red cell guys. From his point of view they were maladjusted, and overly violent. He also said they were good at their assigned missions.

  10. Torturing the guard in the hotel was way out of control they have nobody to blame but themselves for their downfall.

    Imagine being that guard.

Getting abducted and tortured, probably assuming you’re going to be executed and they’ll never find the body.

Just to find out it was your own government doing the torturing and it was, “lawl just a prank bro!”

Yeah nah. Red Squad or whatever can go f itself.

  13. if marcinko and red cell was active during or after 9/11, i think they would have hunted the terrorist and terrrorized them. it would make al qaeda and isis look like child’s play. they would have been the perfect unit for this…

  14. Just shows that they pick the WRONG piss-ants for the positions of so-called "base Commanders…
They are sooooo full of arrogance,
instead of learning from their own mistakes, they bullied everyone they could untill they succeeded and that not even correctly.
    STILL BLOODY EFFING AMATEURS.

  15. How do they do attacks without actually hurting people and if the people KNOW they are coming don't they know it is a game and not a real event and would not take it seriously or play along?

  16. Red Cell operations is/was a great idea. We need units like that. Unfortunately it went to their heads as a anything goes, above the Navy regs attitude. Ego's got bloated, arrogance ruled. Too bad they messed up. Too bad a good unit got disbanded

  17. I don't understand are there military installations around the world or even nearby me? I just don't get it. You think that these guys would never want to be seen but apparently they have been since you're doing a story on it. Bummer man. One of the big boys on top of this thing about that. Is I wonder what the others think the other big boys that is? I don't know I'm just a puke civilian. And more questions! Randomly. Just in time I would suppose. We will at least for most.

  18. Anybody can get at anybody if they really are motivated to do so. Torturing the fake captive, dumbest crap ever, ego tripping. Karma. Never go too far in victory, know when to stop. Law 47 of 48

  19. How interesting, constantly challenging your own security layout, the exact same strategy I use for my custom made Halo maps, no wonder the other team gets completely and utterly destroyed even if they outnumber us 3 to 1. Now why can’t the school system use this exact method? Successful attacks would become near or completely extinct.
