And my DM says not even a Nat 20 can steal a liver from a living person in a busy bar whose on the other side of the table with even the person themselves noticing. Party pooper.

Had a moment like that once. We were trying to assasinate a sword master and i tried pockpocketing him to take away his health potions before the encounter started. I rolled a nat20 (32 with bonuses) and the dm told me i could steal anything from him. I stole his heart, literally.

Why do so many people think rogues are always thieves? I've made a lawful good inquisitive rogue with an investigator background, and a chaotic good arcane trickster rogue with an entertainer background. One works in law enforcement and the other is a magician.
