Recording Real Objects For Your Tracks | #Foley Recording

Hello Broducers!

Foley is a unique sound effect technique that is to record and process everyday objects sounds. In this video I’m showing you how to record real world objects in your house and use them in your tracks.

Today I’ll record a wall accessory hanging on my wall that has a small “bell” attached to it. And I’ll process the sound of the bell to use it as main texture layer on a big room drop. Also I’m going to show you how you can tap the desk with your fingers and transform the sound into a percussion. With those techniques you can create really interesting and unique sounds for your productions.

  1. Dude you had a technique shown in one of your videos I cant seem to recall. It involved taking a bass pluck and using the time knob in the audio clips sampler to generate a bassline (and I think setting the sample to look directly back on itself)

Not sure if Im explaining it right but if this makes and sense can you let me know the video title lol.

Also love your vids dude – if you ever made a top 10/20 video on fuyure rave / bigroom ear candy techniques I think it would be awesome.

    Cheers!
