  1. This will be your supreme faction as you are the master of the swift riders and thundering hooves of cavalry. I remember your initial try as Rohan and you got close to 30 episodes. You won the battles but lost the war. Please attempt to focus on the infrastructure and get a stable economy.

  5. I see someone has been apprenticing under Izzy when it comes to making cinematic intros and a narrative built around what happens in the campaign. I bet Master Izzy would be supremely happy to see his Apprentice Sapherz is taking after him when it comes to a story in the campaign.

Joking aside I'm happy to sit back and watch how this narrative evolves and what kind of story is weaved with the threads of fate that bind these mortals. Who's thread shall be cut and who's thread be preserved. Only the Valar and Eru knows the answer to that question.

  6. That was a very dynamic start! My only two advices is first to light up the wold a little bit more and especially the borders with the elves because there's a slight chance of Dol Guldur attacking you IF they beat the Elves. My second advice is to try to have a balaned and stable economy slowly by the money you earn. By the way the intro was magnificent!

  7. Hello, my friend. Well, an interesting start it is. It's a good miracle that you didn't go on debt from the first episode, as usual (and I would say it for others too)… My first choice would be the Mason's Hall and the Roads (of any form), so as to have a bit of balance in the later stages. The fact that Eomer goes for Wold gives me a good idea… But nevertheless, it's a good move. I would like to have the watch towers more close to the borderline, though, so as to watch everything alongside the borderline and have in full light all of the territory. Rohan is encircled by enemies and I expect the Mordor will go for Calenhad and Dol Guldur will attack in the direction of Edraicharn, both Castles. So, we need an army in Aldburg and at least a general in Tirith Anduin. And most of our war effort will be against the Dunledings for now, waiting for Saruman to unveil his true face.
And now, something to start our story, with Anborn of Pinnath Gelyn and the Kingdom of Rohan:

Erkenbrand, Theodred and Eomer were in Hornburg, discussing the situation in the Kingdom. As Theoden was under Saruman's influence, Grima and the other minions of the White Wizard actually controlled the realm and no one could stand against the King. But the son of the King was someone to be reckonned and no one of Saruman's minions dared to face him. So, Theodred was travelling all across the country, to see the needs. And thus, he was now in Hornburg with Erkenbrand and Eomer, setting down the raids of the Uruk-hai and the Dunledings.
"We have enough forces for now", Erkenbrand said. "Here and Foldburg will be the first targets for Saruman".
"I'll muster forces to come for help", Theodred said. "Me and Eomer will not leave you alone".
"I know, my kid", Erkenbrand said. "And the men are willing to teach a lesson to those barbarians and their White Hand. We should also concentrate our effort in the military infrastructure too- and this will demand money".
"I'll do my best", Theodred said. "I know that even Grima himself cannot say no to me".
"I'll ride to Foldburg to organise the defences there", Eomer said.
"No", Erkenbrand said. "You are needed elsewhere. Go to claim the Wold, as Saruman's minions have taken the towns there to hit us from the North. We must secure that we reach Limlight river and find Celeborn's territory. If Celeborn keeps Dol Guldur away, we won't see Wolves coming from the Wold. I'm sure that Saruman wants this exact ficture. But we have someone up there who can be of help to us, as of old. Find the Swan Knight".

Eomer knew very well what was Erkenbrand talking about. In the Long Winter, when Helm was attacked by Wolf, resulting in the long Winter War, Gondor was also attacked by Corsairs and Haradrim, under the high command of King Ar-Castamaite of the Adunaim. It was really bitter for Gondor, as with great effort did the Steward repel the attack. At this time, Helm died in the long defence, along with his two sons. But finally, the help arrived, as the Steward and the Prince of Dol Amroth sent a general with good forces and supplies, but a man from Dol Amroth had passed through Cirith Iaur and found Hornburg. He picked Frealaf and together they went to Dimrost, from where they descended in Edoras and killed Wulf into Meduseld. This man, Anborn, was a rider from Pinnath Gelyn, tasked by the Lord of Pinnath Gelyn to kill the head of the snake and his name was well known among the Rohirrim. His family then settled in Rohan and they have established the county of Tirith Anduin, guarding the flow of the river towards Argonath and Rauros. His descendant was still living in that town and Eomer wanted to find him and get his help, as his origin would be useful in keeping the morale of Rohan high.
Eomer hit first Rochburg, where his mounted archers did the best and killed the Orc raiders from distance, as they tried to chase them out. Afterwards, Eomer got in Rochburg, only to meet a handfull of riders trying to assault the Orcs. Eomer ordered the assault without hesitation and the Rohirrim broke the Orcs with the first strike, leaving the archers to chase and kill them on the run. Just in a few days, the Wold was free and the scouts said that Celeborn was seen in Edraicharn too, guarding the crossings of Anduin.
In the town, Eomer met with a strange man, that had brown eyes and dark brown hair and he had in his side a recurve bow and a long sword. His armour was green and white and had a flavour of Gondor. His name was Anborn, as his great grandfather, and was a young man in the peak of his might and power. He was telling Eomer how the Orcs had infiltrated, coming from Fangorn, and how he organised the defence, bringing clandestine weapons and armours from Lorien and Gondor, forming a small cavalry force. The Orcs had their camp in the middle of the town and when they went on a raid, Anborn found the opportunity to kill the remaining Orcs and set their camp ablaze into the night. The next morning, he set out to hit the incoming raiding party before they entered the town, as there were few defenders in, when Eomer's force came.
"I'm glad you did so", Eomer said. "Welcome back to the Kingdom of Rohan, even though the King is not in the position to accept you. However, the big battle is yet to come".
"We'll serve the Kingdom", Anborn said. "We will surely be of help, despite that we are so few. But we are descendants of the regiment of Pinnath Gelyn, who came in days far to answer the call of Rohan for help".
"You are more than welcome", Eomer said.

  9. Great start to this series! I've always enjoyed your runs of this game, but I really appreciate the extra intros at the start. It gives more weight to everything going on in the game. It's something fun to add if it's not a chore for you lol. I haven't watched a Rohan play through with these mods, so I look forward to the rest.
