When the movie comes out bad, a “director’s cut” it’s a good excuse to try again and also make people pay twice for the same movie? Hahaha this is a scam !

I was so fkn hyped for this but in the end all we got was an over extended, very long winded knockoff star wars trailer. He should of left the slow mo out and we would have an hr trailer. Haway netflix, the Snyder cut buzz can't be recreated. Just give us the intended movie 1st 😩

I find utterly baffling to understand how not one of the keyboard warriors turn youtubers fails to see the warhammer connection….back to school children.

This movie was annoying to watch.
The background CGI was lackluster at best. The constant slow mo's became an irritation rather then bringing us into the action, the main character felt shallow and hollow, the farmer who bestrays his villge walks around with a open mouth dumb look completely oblivious to the consequences of his actions, the other heros that are recruited dont have any back story, the worst is the scene's when they go to see King, the CGI of the city was bad, dialogue was worse and WTF is up with Ray Fisher's character. The Belarusian big bad was just lacking… There was nothing menacing or intimidating about the character.
Really disappointing movie.
I started listening to the novelization of part one on audible – there are 2 chapters that precede where the movie starts off – I haven’t finished the book yet but I think this may fill in the holes for the Zack Snyder cut.

Im most disappointed because of its potential. Visually it looks great! I felt I was stoned, and missed large periods of the movie. But its just rushed through. Could of been a great series. saying that, I couldnt make anything near it. so what do i know

I actually enjoyed it but I do agree it felt rushed. I wish it would've been an eight-episode season.

I never realized that films have to be unrated and 3 hours long in order to have the slightest level of character development and cringe-free dialogue.
This movie was so bad I had to stop watching half way through.
Probably the worst film I’ve seen in a long time. Writing is horrible, absolutely no character development and a plot that’s all over the map. The casting is bizzare. The lead actress has zero screen presence and can’t act. Charlie Hunnam and Michael Huisman should switch roles and what’s with all the dodgy Irish accents? No directors cut can save this smouldering pile.
Fun take as always, anticipated and just watched and yeah had some good moments and some good characters, good villain and liked the "resurrection" and invested in Kora….but yeah some cheesy dialogue and influences. Will stay along for the future ride though. Bottom line is tough to stack up in the Dune era.

Charlie Hunnam confirmed a couple of weeks ago on Virgin radio saying Netflix always wanted 4 films in total so basically part one and two and then the “proper” versions later on..they’re trying to force a Synder cut thing again which won’t happen because that was organic
This is a Warhammer 40k movie with just enough changed that GW won't sue them. That's where just enough "Star Wars" sprinkled in to make that happen. I think Zack played a few games with Harry when making the Superman and associated movies.
I remember watching your Dune Part 1 breakdown. The lack of story and character development made new viewers not know what was going on and know the characters before they died or seperate from Paul. You used the books to explain dune part 1 so you're able to fill in the missing parts and background of characters without watching Part 2 instead of the movie itself just like with Rebel Moon. Its new lore there will missing parts which get filled in later. Only difference between Rebel Moon Part 1 and Dune Part 1 was one had many books fill + previous films to fill in the gaps in story and lack of character dev in Dune Part 1 while Rebel Moon doesnt and people need to wait for part 2. Dont know why people expect a completed story in part 1, its stupid. You only expect a complete story in a standalone movie or movies with true sequels not Parts.
